I'd say the Merc isn't too bad. It looks quite slick and also the back is different to most other cars - compared to the Williams where the back is basically just the suspension. Apparently they are trying to put all the exhaust gases directly to the suspension. Yes, I know that sounds like all the other teams but the rear wheelmount was moved forward.

Are Sky streaming F1 as well? I'm wondering with my DNS rerouting service that get's me the US Netflix in Canada, if I'll be able to possibly stream F1 from the UK using my folks account.

Dude, if your parents have Sky HD or subscribed to the 2 main sports channels they get this channel free. That means it will be available via your parents Sky Go or Sky Online account ANYWHERE in the world. So get that sorted out get a loging and authorise your IPad or setup a PC attached to TV and enjoy :)

Sauber i can understand, but Redbull are still bankrolling TR aren't they, so why run for the money ?

I think Mateschitz still has hopes of offloading the team, even if he's withdrawn the over "for sale" status it had a while ago.

Am fairly convinced that other teams are on high fuel at the moment, so I suspect it's probably a medium fuel run ;). They're currently a good three seconds off last year's test times.

Merc apparently with a hydraulic issue of some sort, and quite possibly not having run DRS all day today.

Hmm, whilst reading that an interview with Rosberg was playing on Autosports media player. In the background was the new Mercedes, theres an enormous hole in the very front of the nose. I know F1 cars tend to have a small air inlet on the nose, but the one on the Mercedes looks abnormally large.

Just seen the calendar and I think it's the following races that will not be live on the BBC:

Australia 18/3
Malaysia 25/3
Bahrain 22/4
Canada 10/6
Germany 22/7
Hungary 29/7
Monza 9/9
Japan 7/10
India 28/10
USA 18/11

Sky have skillfully arranged things so that there are very few back-to-back races on the BBC (other than valencia-britain) and the new tracks like india and USA will not be live on the beeb either, not to mention that the first 2 races of the season won't be live.

Very hard for plebs like myself without Sky to maintain interest over the season unless it gets off to an absolute blinder. Unless it looks an exceptionally competitive start I probably won't bother :(
