I've always loved kits, but get so heavy handed with the glue that I generally ruin them, I'm also shit at painting. There was one company who do kits with a die-cast metal body, I got a Ferrari 250GTO LM in that set in blue, was gorgeous

Yeah I'm horrible with kits so I buy models, you've seen my F1 cars a little further up there but here's a better shot.

Yeah, definitely. Reminder of a great day as well; most of the winter a few of my friends thought that come the start of the F1 season they'd be out of their jobs. Instead we spent the Sunday morning after the GP finished in the communal garden at the back of our block of flats drinking a bottle of champagne they'd 'taken home' from Race Support .

Amazing year really. Was really lucky to be able to experience it from their perspective at various points.

Giving a team permission to pump development into something and later turning around and banning it sounds like a great way to achieve their aim of making F1 cost less

Yep, especially as at that point any team with a decent R+D dept poured money into it as well. It's not just Lotus, you've probably cost the grid several tens of millions there.

I got 20, with 2 I knew but couldn't spell. When I got the answers there were 2 (one of them british even) that I'd never heard of.
