Looks like we're not going to the Red Bull Racing event tomorrow. Our on-going problems with our central heating system mean that we've got a third engineer (in 3 days) coming to have a look at the issue "some time tomorrow", my little girls absolutely gutted about it :( I've told her they've had to cancel it (as its easier for her to take than "we're being messed about by our housing associations engineers") and I'm writing to RBR to see if they can send her some autographed pics or something (her favourite driver is Webber).

Anyone else going to Milton Keynes tomorrow?

I'm not sure when to turn up, it's going to be packed. Guessing i'll need to be there a good 2 or 3 hours early.

If you are there, take a pic of Daytona's truck. They're saying on fb you email it to them mk@daytona.co.uk you can get a half price arrive and drive session.

Good chance to give that track a try.

Well that was BRILLIANT! Kudos to RB they put on a great day. Highlight was Vettel doing so many doughnuts in front of us that we couldn't see for about 20 secs.  The cloud was so thick! And I got hit in the face with some rubber that flew off Webbers tyres, glad I was wearing my sunnies or I'd probably have got it in my eye. Webber almost took out the people to my right on his first spin, totally clipped the barriers.

Jake and DC presenting everything was an unexpected pleasure too.

Will post pics when I get home :)

Gutted :( at least our heating seems to be working at the moment I suppose. Will take Rachael out to post the letter to Red Bull later and try and see if my Dad will take us to the Donington GP Museum, I've seen they have a McLaren hall, but they used to have loads of Williams' is this still the case?

Grosjean has got the second Lotus seat next year. Does that mean Petrov is out of a drive altogether?

Lotus have gone from a journeyman driver lineup to something that is very impressive indeed. Grosjean and Kimi will definitely both be under pressure from each other to perform now.

If all the engineering changes they have made come good they could become the new "best of the rest". Or even be looking for podiums.

Grosjean has a mighty impressive CV and when parachuted in mid season as Alonso's team mate was only half a second slower. He is the real thing.

Also he is the big new French hope so comes with Mobil money. He used to work in Swiss banking so might bring some of that money as well.

By all accounts he is a great guy.

Then they let another of the world's best drivers go snowmobile racing. And he crashes! http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/96710

I wouldn't say Grosjean's one of the world's best drivers just yet, give him time. ;)

On a more serious note it will be fascinating to see how they fare up against each other. Both are born again Rookies, sort of. I wonder if Kimi had a hand in that. Easier to beat someone who's not dialed in.

What I really want to see is how Kimi fares after a few races if the car is crap. Does his head go down or does he fight to take the car to places it shouldn't have the right to go.

Still 97 days to go.. WAAAAAAAA!

Just ordered the HD pack for Sky @£10.25pm. In doing this I'll get Sky Sports F1 HD for free and £100 M&S vouchers. Grand.

(I don't have Sky Sports)
