Maybe she's got a secret contract with Red Bull.

Close but not quite, her real name is actually naughty Nicole (there has to be something better than that but damned if I can think of it at the moment) she's Sebastian's 2012 championship winning car sent back from the future in human form to sabotage Hamilton's season.

 Why can't you see the obvious Lewis, Nicole is a succubus... of talent. When Lewis first came in he was in a league of his own, narrowly missing out on a first year championship... then, with the relationship in full flow, gradually sucking all the supreme F1 skills (amongst other things) from Lewis, in a season where he should have reigned supreme he just got the title win by a single point from the Ferrari No 2. Since then, it's been downhill...but Nicole isn't finished, she won't let go until Lewis is in retirement, a one time champion, a bitter failure at the end when he should have been a multiple world champion.

Then she will finally slip away, scouting for and preying on the next big talent.

What the hell does he see in that fucking camera-seeking man beast?! She dumped him because the F1 cameras were bored of her destroying lenses so all that hassle attending noisy races wasn't doing her career any good in the global market for dictator's parties.

More info from sky...

Ever since the announcement that F1 is to be given the full Sky Sports treatment on our dedicated Sky Sports F1 HD channel, we've been inundated with your questions about our plans and how the channel will operate. Which gives us the perfect excuse to tell you as much as we can about Sky Sports HD F1 by answering the questions we've been busy answering on our Sky Sports F1 twitter account...

Will the race be interrupted by adverts?

In a word: no.

But Bazz up the pub last night insisted that all the grands prix would be full of adverts...

We're aware that there's been plenty of false rumouring doing the rounds about our coverage, but here's one thing you can be certain of: Sky Sports F1 HD will be broadcasting all of next season's races live and uninterrupted by adverts. Promise. And say hi to Bazz from us.

How can I receive the new channel?

Sky Sports F1 HD is available to all Sky customers who are either subscribed to Sky Sports 1&2 or our HD service.

Wait a minute. I'm already subscribed to Sky Sports. Will I be receiving the F1 channel for no extra charge then?

Yes.

Wait a minute for me too. I already subscribe to the HD pack. So F1 will be added to my package at no extra cost as well?

Correct.

I'm not currently a Sky subscriber. How can I join to receive the F1 channel?

By subscribing either to our Sky Sports package or to our HD service.

How much will it cost?

Check out this link for all the details. If you can forgive a plug...it also currently includes a special 'Get Sky' offer that's valid until December 14.

I'm a Sky Sports subscriber in Ireland. Will I be able to receive the channel?

Yes.

When will the channel launch?

March. We can't tell you at this stage the exact date but it's reasonable to assume that it will be before the 18th...

What exactly will the channel show?

Every race, every qualifying session, every practice session. From every grand prix from March to November.

So 'everything' then?

You said that, not us.

Ok, but is there anything else you can tell us?

The channel will also be broadcasting weekly magazine shows, in-depth interviews and archive action. So stay tuned.

Is there anything we can see at this stage?

Try this snippet on our official youtube page.

Will the channel be available on Virgin and BT Vision?

Excuse the fence-sitting non-reply, but it's an issue we're still investigating. As soon as we know for certain, we'll let you know.

Will it be available on Sky Go?

Yup.

And what will be shown on the Red Button service?

We're still working on that, but we can tell you that our interactive service will include on-board cameras and plenty of features designed to take F1 fans deeeper inside the sport.

What's the intro music going to be?

Our lips are sealed. In case we start humming.

Who will be joining Martin Brundle as part of the commentary team?

Sorry, that's still a secret. But all will be revealed soon. Possibly very soon...

Emphasis mine. I'm sure the room they've left themselves is not coincidental.

Your trust in News International is refreshing.

Your trolling because F1 is moving to Sky isn't.

There was never a chance they'd put adverts on during it. The fact you think there would be shows how little you understand of their premium sports output.

Except for the bit where the one comparable sport they show has ads, or did last time I saw it.

What high profile sport is that?

Highlights of nobodies racing things nobody watches to fill the hours in-between the sports people do watch. Did they announce that to huge acclaim, or give it it's own channel?

You simply don't understand what your talking about, or more to the point still have the hump as it's a subscription now rather than the BBC.

Advertisements or not, the tone of Sky's broadcasting seriously grates with me. From what I've seen - its dull, its plastic, its unimaginative, its not flattering to the audience's intelligence. I will be amazed if it turns out to be better (maybe if they give Brundle complete creative freedom and support or something similarly radical).

Also, Steve Ryder is shit. I tried to watch tapes of the 2008 season (I didn't follow it that year) but couldn't get past the first pre-race buildup because it was so depressing.

Their live coverage of Indycar had ads last I saw.

A high profile open wheel motor racing series with roughly identically length races to F1 (Minus the Indy 500).

In other words an utter minority sport in the UK and about as high profile as their fly fishing coverage. It may be a similar style of event, but it's not premium content for a UK sporting audience unlike F1.

Also as pointed out bought coverage from a US network. Same as their NFL coverage which cuts to ad breaks when the US network does, or as Sky can't even handle that many advert breaks back to the studio.

In non Sky news:

Mercedes will wait until 21 February - less than a month before the start of the 2012 Formula 1 season - to give their new car its track debut.

With the season beginning in Australia on 18 March, the team will have only eight days of testing.

Chief executive Nick Fry said: "It's not a big problem, it's a very deliberate decision on our part for a variety of reasons.

I guess that either means they think they have found a loophole or they've made a shit car again.

Fingers crossed the former... or that they just want to spend every last second getting it ready. Obvious bias that I try to hide aside, it would be great if they were back up there fighting for wins.

Peter Gethin died today - raced in F1 in the early 1970s for McLaren and BRM, and won the 1971 Italian GP in the closest finish ever. Highlights below! Team manager at Toleman during Senna's year there.

Oh, and I believe he is the only F1 driver to have won a race without ever having led a full lap.
