fuckery bollocks. the misses will never consent to £10 a month extra just for the HD channels, she's half blind and can't tell the difference at the best of times. And to only get a highlights package on the BBC. fucker fuckerty fuck.

Are you a man or a mouse?! :coffee:

Actually, if you are a mouse, just add it silently and hide the bills. :eyebrows:

Seems like something you'd have to actual real-world testing on and would be a bit dangerous to do?

Based on my limited understanding of heat transfer and mechanics of materials, it depends. If the tires are new and as close to round as possible then you could get away with doing complex computer simulations. If you're talking about tyres that are deformed/have been used then it probably does need testing, yes. They would've tested it in the winter break anyway, surely?

Are we back up to £600 a year then for HD F1? ^_^

Clear as mud.

Well It's either £10 or £15 extra over a normal sky non-sport sub depending on if you believe this thread of James Allen.

So either 30 or 35 a month minimum. Let's say 360 quid a year.

I'm so not taking any notice of this next year. What a load of piffle. The sooner my boys start racing the better.

It's just such wank. There's no way I will be able to get sky where I'm living now. No pub round here will ever show it, at least not with sound. Even if they did, they'd change half way through for football. I need to find a forum with people who are very knowledgeable about streams and link to good quality ones constantly. Any ideas?

I think the situation is FAR better than we could realistically have imagined when the deal was first announced.

They didn't have to put it on a separate channel. They could have spread it over their sports channels and made us buy them all. So I think a bit of credit is due  - i know.

Of course this all goes out the water if they charge Virgin customers through the roof for the same service - or don't give them it (or HD) at all. :sherlock: Then I'll be popping down to their offices with a Saints Row dildo to deal out some justice.

On the bad side we get Valencia.
