As novel as a driver in London that uses their indicators before they change direction. Or a pedestrian that actually looks before stepping out.

THIS!!!! Drives me mad. Especially people walking up the bloody cycling lane by Waterloo. There is a massive pavement for you on the other side of the road, get out of my way!!!!

That show was awesome. I really want to go & work for Mclaren now...... Again!

I think they're trying to be better than porsche. Certainly mass producing a car like that would suggest that's what they're up to.

the car might be mass-produced, but the price was £186,000 £168,500, right?

not mass-market.

unless...

Oh my!

I believe there is a more mass market Mclaren car coming down the line. One that normal people might be able to afford.

that's what I thought, and now, all I can see in my head, is a lancia beta berliner/porsche panameraramalamadingdong 4-door saloon monstrosity.

EB110, Zonda Tricolore, Agera, Aventador. These are supercars.

Why isn't it a super car then ? :sherlock:

stupidly fast ........ check

expensive ............ check

Carbon fibre body..... check

ceramic brakes ....... check

hand built ........... check

sport and track mode . check

i think it pretty much ticks all the boxes here. Perhaps they need a couple of ironic bikini clad lovelies drapped all over it before a marketing guru such as yourself considers it a super car.

I'd probably still want it. I'm far too gay for Mclaren for my own good.

LOL. It's a fantastic car clearly from a technical standpoint, and if I was stinking rich I would almost certainly have one, given that I too like Mclaren.

But it's not beautiful. The details are though. I've followed one on my bike before and almost ran into the back of it a few times, staring at the light cluster and exhausts. The design feels a bit... workman like. A little bit too much form over function. And the gills on the doors are just plain dated.

Pains me to say it but the 458 is a better looking car.

Exclusive..... not especially, it's a Ferrari 458 competitor, the 2nd bottom of Ferrari's line.

The 458 isn't a supercar, gorgeous though it is. The Enzo is. The F1 was. This probably isn't.

The term supercar has got massively watered down in the last 30 years or so, to the extent they had to invent the term "hypercar".

so it's

car, sportscar, supercar, hypercar, racecar

As for the rear braking/turning assist, I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. I was doing that only yesterday on my quad. Cost £1500.

Back on topic. Interlargos. Great circuit and a good place to see in my last f1 race. Love the time too, if only all races were on at 5pm......

Oh, hang on.....
