Would have been some pretty crappy humble pie as he passed the HRT and Lotus etc, given the time lost he wouldn't have been anywhere near the front guys to prove his passing ability as he would have been over 2 mins down.

It appears in his hurry to get back he wrecked the car, i wonder if it was a different part that failed as most can get a car back after a puncture?

Ahh yeah I forgot people tend to move goal posts when proved wrong!

Note to drivers: don't bother overtaking just before the DRS point. It never works

Odd really. They're saying DRS is working great there. But isn't it just punishing people who have put in effort to overtake by having them passed again at the push of a button?

But surely at that distance, the attacking driver also has the same advantage? Overtaking just before the DRS zone isn't going to give you chance to get away, but overtaking in the DRS zone can get you the advantage into the corner. Why not keep close for a few seconds then pull out? Webber made the same mistake in India.

Diresta just showed the benefit of leaving it a bit, he just messed it up after :doh:
