Brundle tweeted he has offers from both Sky and BBC for next year. He's "considering his future"

Actually he states, unless I've read it wrong, that he will be commentating next as hes received an offer from bbc and sky to do so x

I'm hoping we get:

01 Australia (Melbourne) 15 - 18 Mar

06 Monaco (Monte Carlo) 24 - 27 May

07 Canada (Montreal) 08 - 10 Jun

09 Great Britain (Silverstone) 06 - 08 Jul

12 Belgium (Spa-Francorchamps) 31 Aug - 02 Sep

13 Italy (Monza) 07 - 09 Sep

14 Singapore (Singapore) 21 - 23 Sep

15 Japan (Suzuka) 05 - 07 Oct

19 United States (Austin) 16 - 18 Nov

20 Brazil (Sao Paulo)

If the India GP is a blighter then I'll swap that for Singapore, but it's a tough choice. Of course the Sky negotiators will probably know what the fan favourites are and force the other 10 onto us :(

Ayrton Senna game announced

Following Game Stock Car, their successful maiden commercial title, Brazil-based Reiza Studios have announced to be working on a racing game that centers around the career of Ayrton Senna.

Made in co-operation with the Ayrton Senna Institute, the new title will allow PC users to relive the spectacular career of the three-time Formula One World Champion who’s still regarded to be one of the best race drivers who have ever lived.

There are no details on the title’s content yet but aside from his early years in Karting and Formula 3, Senna spent the vast majority of his career in Formula One, spanning from the Turbo era to the high-tech computerized cars in the early 90s.

While Game Stock Car was based on ISI’s trusted gMotor 2 engine, Reiza Studios will be using an all-new engine for the Senna title which is expected to be released at the end of 2012.

Part of the revenue created by the release of the title will be donated to the Ayrton Senna Institute that benefits 2 million Brazilian childen with a quality education every year.

New York track in 2013

Formula One Is Coming to New Jersey in 2013

Formula One, the richest and most popular form of international motorsport, is coming to Greater New York in 2013.

According to two people familiar with the matter, the London-based racing circuit will announce next week that the Formula One Grand Prix of America will take place in June 2013 on a road course mapped out in Weehawken and West New York along the Hudson River—against the backdrop of the Manhattan skyline.

Formula One has scheduled a press conference at Port Imperial in Weehawken Tuesday, where the announcement is expected to be made. The proposed race was first reported in August. The mayors of Weehawken and West New York issued a joint statement that they were in talks with a group of investors led by Leo Hindery, Jr., a former chief executive of the YES Network, to bring a race to New Jersey.

Formula One currently has a 19-event calendar with events in Monte Carlo, Shanghai and Sao Paulo, among others, on twisty circuits in the world's most advanced open-wheel cars. The last U.S. race took place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2007.

In May 2010, F1 announced a plan to return to the U.S. The Formula One Grand Prix of America will be held in November 2012 at a $250 million purpose-built racetrack in Austin, Texas. The Grand Prix in New Jersey will mark a second U.S. race on the 2013 calendar, these people said.

I'd definitely buy the Senna game if it's like rFactor, but obviously through the series he raced.

As for another US GP, seanr.gif Those long curvy sections look fun though.

And you know the cast of Jersey Shore will be on the gridwalk, tarnishing F1 forever

I don't think Sky are going to be over-argessive in going for the fan favourites in year 1 but fear that some of the above races will end up on Sky as I can see SKY having USA Canada and Austrailia as there first three picks. Below I've wrote my predictions for next year's picks taking int account and interview I heard with the directer general a few weeks ago saying that the Beeb will try and stay clear of races in the Asian Time Zone and the fact that the Beeb can't show Hungary next year for logistcal reasons

BBC

1. Malaysia

2. Bahrain

3. Spain

4. Monaco

5. Europe

6.Britain

7.Italy

8.India

9.Abu Dhabi

10. Brazil

SKY

1.Australia

2. China

3. Canada

4. Germany

5. Hungary

6. Belgium

7. Singapore

8. Japan

9. Korea

10. USA
