Interesting Korea C&P

"I'm at the circuit right now (I'm an engineer for one of the teams) and nothing has chsnged since last year. Its as if they shut the gates and locked them after last years race and then only opened them up a week ago. There were still spec sheets from the previous teams in the hospitality suites. I know that MRL turned up to find the red bull floor graphics still on the floor of their garage from last year. There's been no development whatsoever and the place still looks like a building site. All the paddock is overgrown and they've done nothing to improve the terrible finish of all the paving, walkways and ironwork.

I'll get some photos and put them up as its really very poor. To add to it all the hotels are still terrible with the majority of teams staying in love motels.

I really don't understand why we come here as there's clearly no desire for the sport or any support for it from the government. The fact that the place still isn't finished prooved that."

They have done one thing: the wall that was on the inside of the final right-hander has been moved back, and a bit of grass has been put down. Shame, as the cars running right next to that wall was probably the most exciting feature of the whole track!

I posted this before which is quite fun: http://f1-toilets.livejournal.com/

But it was deleted along with some of my other posts on this thread by an admin running amok and taking it upon themselves to vandalise the forum.

Worse than Hitler.

Yes that must suck mustn't it.

I'll support you on a lot of things Bruce but on this one you can get to fuck. I know this is Stu's site but it's 100% accurate and don't claim you only deleted trolling because you deleted stuff from me that was perfect except proved you didn't have the faintest fuck of a clue about the PSP.

Is that the wall where Petrov crashed last year? There you go then... they've improved security standards :)

Why is this on at 5am? Most f1 fans are in Europe so it must be bad for pr and also sponsorship of f1 if they race while the majority of would be viewers are sleeping.

I think they should hold each race at midday gmt irrespective of what time zone the race is in.

I might be thought of as odd, but to me the worst thing they ever did was move the Australian Grand Prix later so it catered to European audiences slightly more. I used to love getting up and watching the race at 2am! Felt like part of a ritual, especially when it was the last and then first race of the season :blah:

It wasn't even possible until Singapore and later Abu Dhabi installed floodlights. Wouldn't it seem stupid to you if all the Far Eastern races were night races?

No, the world must accommodate to probeater standards, after all it's not his fault that the sun isn't facing Asia when he's tucking into his 2for1 Sunday brunch.
