I'm sure he'll drop down to 8th pretty quickly before finding someone else to blame for it.

After the magnitude of brain damage Massa suffered he is still only partially recovered. He will get better and better as it heals, in many ways. He is good enough to keep Alonso honest, not many F1 drivers outside of Button and Hamilton are good enough to do that.

If Ferrari want a better no2 driver it will be one of the current rookies coming good or Kubica making a recovery.

Glock, Rosberg, Sutil etc are just not good enough.

Just re-watched Senna after borrowing a copy from work, I say re-watched, I watched the extended cut this time round, with the talking heads and it really is poorly edited, but still worth watching if you've seen the Theatrical release as it gives a better insight into the relationships Senna had with particular people at the time and their feelings towards him as his career progressed.

Still could barely watch Imola 94 though.

Watching Senna right now. Man I want to punch Balestre's wobbly French face.

Edit: Now that is a good smirk.

Edit2: Oh my, what a film.... Everyone who has even made a single post in this thread needs to buy and watch it.

That's a pity, the theatrical release was so well put together.

WHOOOOOP!!

So happy right now. I've just found an app that lets me watch iPlayer from Canada. So I can sit here and watch an ad free race, with all the build up. Plus it's still Saturday night here so I don't even have to wake up at a crazy hour.

It does feel weird watching a race on a Saturday.

Just think this could be all over on the first corner if Jenson and Seb take each other out. Won't be the first time we'd have a situation like that, but still, just shows just how close the championship is from being over, and one of the ways it could be won.

Why the hate?

He is an extremely fast driver.

Today he was even faster than the supposed best driver in F1, in an identical car.

When I wrote that I'd just watched the interview they showed during the qually show. And hadn't seen the clip of him pushing Lewis during his interview. He spoke like a brat and acted like a brat. I don't like his attitude. And he's become a winger, which is far worse. I used to have a lot of respect for him, in fact I used to quite like him. He's become the type of driver I can't stand.

Fair play for him outqualifying Tel tho. If only he could do it more often, or just be in the same postcode then maybe the chip on his shoulder would't have appeared. If Ferrari want to win a constructors championship again, he's not fast enough consistently anymore. When Ferrari think Perez is ready, his ass is dropped.
