No you don't, because they were not identical incidents and did not have identical consequences.

Even if they were identical incidents, Perez suffered no damage but Massa's race was ruined and that IS relevant.

Hamiltons race was also ruined, my argument is merely that the punishment isn't required, Massa had to re-pit but only for tyres, Hamilton also had to re-pit for a front wing which takes roughly the same amount of time as a drive-through penalty to repair.

Rosberg also took track position by forcing Perez off the road, the Mexican had no where else to go, if he didn't go wide Rosberg would have hit him, ergo Perez's race at the time was damaged (admittedly only ever so slightly).

Yes? In what way is that not ruined?

Massa was running higher than Hamilton after he had to pit for his replacement tyre for the puncture, it was the pit-stop after that which pushed him back, the way the Ferrari's are running has ruined Massa's race.

They can't refuel during the race

Banned.

There is no refuelling in races.

Cheers, this season's the first in ages I've watched on a semi regular basis. Didn't know if it was just a technology thing or was forbidden.

Bit harsh for him asking that.

:D

He also had a very slow lap while he tried to get the punctured tyre back to the pits.

Ultimately, Hamilton has cost Massa points, you simply can't say the same about Rosberg on Perez even if you consider the incidents otherwise identical, which I do not.

He's 10 seconds off scoring points, Hamilton certainly cost him more than that.
