Super Princess Peach US TV advert

Recommended Posts

The game is nicely pitched for that particular demographic (younger, mainly female, gamers), so the add works very well.

It's another arrow in the DS's widely appealing quiver. If you see what I mean...

The sad thing is that I'm a 23 year old male, and that advert made me want to buy Super Princess Peach.

Help me. :)

Well, I've bought it, played it, completed it and sold it to another (presumably) mid twenties male on the forum.

So.

It's all totally sweet, innit.

Worth a purchase? I'm off to Canada soon, planning on expanding my DS collection while the games are cheap. (Mmmm, 2.2 dollars to the pound.... *drool*_

early 30s actually.

I feel very old now.

Ooops! Anyway, I'll be 30 next year, so I don't know what I'm talking about...

I reckon it is, if you like your platformers. Especially if you enjoyed things like the GBA Mario rereleases, Mario 3 and Mario World. Portable 2D Mario works really really well, I think.

SPP looks gorgeous. Big, bright, detailed 2D sprites in the tradition of Yoshi's Island - actually it's sort of a cross between Mario World and Yoshi's Island in its graphical style.

It is very easy though - so if you're the kind of gamer who likes a tough challenge, then you won't find it, and you'll be bored less than half way through. But if you like to play your games at a nice relaxed kind of pace, and maybe don't have much time for games (I work, and I tend to fit a bit of gaming in in the evenings) then it could work for you.

You can always sell it on the forum I guess...
