Also, I don't quite see how it can be very big. At all. I mean, I thought Retro Core was a fantastic online show, but few have heard of it. So why is this big all of a sudden? I mean, there are better shows out there. I can scarcely force myself to watch an entire episode. I just skipped straight to the Mama's Kitchen segment for ep 3.

Because of it's cute crapness. First time I saw it I thought Star Wars Kid.

A friend of mine was telling me about it a week or so back and yet hasn't heard of Consolevania, 1UP or any of the others. Somebody had emailed him a link and he emailed everybody in his address book, you know how it goes.

I do wonder about Melissa though. Yes she is hugely better than the rest in front of the camera. Yes she knows how to frame a shot too. Yes she is cute. Why is she doing this though?

I notice that she always appears on her own in a room.

I would guess she is locked in there and will be freed after a certain number of reviews.

But didn't you hear her forced emphasis?

Just like in WarioWare touched and feel the magic, you have to blow into the mic.

It's wall to wall inuendo on that show. :unsure:

Oh, right, WoW = wow. Very good. Funny how you never say some things out loud. I used to think the word blog was pronounced Bee-Log, until I heard someone say blog.

As for the show, well, they're not very professional to say the least but i've seen less informed reviews in mainstream media by semi-capable tv presenters.

Any TV show with amen breaks in it also gets an automatic thumbs up from me anyway.

Yakumo, from off of Retro Core, terrifies me. Like, really scares the living shit out of me.

As far as I know Melissa sends in her reviews from elsewhere, so she may not have met them in person.

There are photos of them together at e3, but I think you might be right about the location thing. They look like they do the videos apart and she sends her's in.

Honestly didn't realise they had Downs Syndrome - that changes it for me, now I feel guilty laughing.

They absolutley don't have Down's Syndrome. One or two of them might be borderline special needs, but they're mostly just extremely socially inept / hardcore nerds.

I'm no expert on the subject, but they could have mosaic down syndrome.

They are too hardcore nerds, but that kinda goes without saying.

At the very least, Dave has learning disabilities of some description. Down's Syndrome sufferers, in my experience, all tend to look the same (similar - you know what I mean - they have a specific look). These guys are just overweight and slow.

That's why I was thinking that they might have mosaic down syndrome. As I believe that it doesn't have 'that look'.

Might be completely off track, but I'd say for certain that they're not a full shilling as my pa' used to say.

I do know some people with learning disabilities, ones that require 24/7 care, and some of them are avid gamers. They're certainly not as able as these guys, but it doesn't stop them from loving games.

I didn't know there was a milder form of DS (DS Lite LOL!), so I suppose it's a possibility for big Dave and the guy with glasses. I still have my doubts, but if they do, then it's all the more impressive really.
