Episode 3 is out

I've watched the first 10 minutes or so, haven't got the time to watch it all at the moment.

I actually quite like it in a funny way, it's certainly getting better, and their capturing of the game play is quite good now.

And it has to be a winner thanks to Melissa's comment during the Cooking Mama review - "pounding meat" Said with quite a cheeky look :)

The show is pretty decent imo, if a bit rough round the edges.

The scores given at the end of the reviews seem a bit too high though, even when the reviews themselves are pretty negative.

:D She knows exactly what she's doing!

The quality of the show is definately on the up.

Perhaps it's my letcherous old mind, but I can't figure out wether Melissa (reviwing the cooking game) is being deliberately 'suggestive' or not.

"I could skewer pork all day long" and the way she says "...or pounding meat" with real emphasis and a cheeky smile.

Kids - this is what happens to you when you get past 30.

And she still was the best reviewer of the bunch.

'Dave' is also great, he takes 30 seconds pauses in between his scentences. :P

It's just brilliant. Really fantastic.

It's hysterical in a way that you could not make deliberately. Melissa speaks in such a natural, fluid, and yet forced way - and watch her head wobble - see the bit in Cooking Mama immediatley after the gameplay footage - What is wrong with her head?

Andrew Rosenblum has the physique and vocal talent that suggest he's stuffing a pork chop in his mouth each time the camera cuts away, and there's that amusing rivalry between the asian kid and the editor, whenever he comes on screen, the music cranks up and you can't hear him.

It's a wonderful wonderful thing. I could watch it over and over again. If things got more professional it would lose it's appeal. But, if MTV show it as it is now, then they are just going for the cheap laugh at their expense.

I think the show is fantastic, and I'm pretty sure I'm laughing with them, not at them. I mean no disrespect when I say this is the funniest thing I have ever seen.

You can say whatever you want about the show, but don't bring sweet Melissa into this.

I've watched all three and would agree with others that there has been a massive improvement since the first episode. Yeah, it's still not smooth by any means but it is fun and it makes me smile. A lot.

I do wonder about Melissa though. Yes she is hugely better than the rest in front of the camera. Yes she knows how to frame a shot too. Yes she is cute. Why is she doing this though? I mean is anybody really that surprised that this has got so big (the coverage of the show) or that they are being offered a deal? I'm certainly not and I doubt she is either. A couple of years a go I would have said they had no chance at all, in fact maybe even less than that, but that was a couple of years ago. I just hope she doesn't leave the rest of them in her wake.

The very best of luck to them though and I hope they all do very well out of it. Shame it will probably lose so much of it's cuteness if they do go to MTV but hey, I bet they'll all get shagged senseless if they do. A lot.

EXAMPLE OF WHY IT'S FUNNY.

Someone must have told the asian kid that the show isn't daily, and therefore the slogan "Daily Dose of Gaming Goodness" makes no sense. So enjoy the very first line of episode 3, "Hi, and welcome to this edition of Gamelife mumble mumble dai..DOSE of gaming goodness".

Then Andrew steps up, apparently pissed and slurs "Worrlld of Waaarcraaffft", when some joker steps in following the script.

"Whhatt Weeerrrree you up tooo?" slurs Rosenburg.

I love it. Don't go changin!

Also, check out Melissa's head in the cooking Mama Review, just after the gameplay footage - she has her head at a different angle for each individual word of "cooking mama makes excellent use of the Nintendo DS' touch screen capabilities".

That's a skill that cannot be taught.
