If we can move Hutton and Jenas on now we're looking a lot better in terms of squad size. With no Diarra I'd rather we kept Wilson though, we need more bite than just Sandro.

Hmm, bit underwhelming today really.

Happy to get in Parker who could be the midfield leader we lack. We've got rid of quite a few fringe players as well as taking good cash for Crouch & Palacios. Surprised Dos Santos remains at the club though - thought he was going to Sevilla.

We could have done with the Cahill signing I think to add some more leadership to the backline, and I was really hoping we had a big secret deal lined up for a striker. I guess that was never going to realistically happen though this late in the day, especially with Harry saying this morning that he felt we needed to get rid of Crouch as we had too many strikers already.

Keeping Modric could be big though, provided we don't just end up with loads more distracting rumours in January.

Harry's said he'll be playing them together, so it'll be interesting to see where we go from here in regards to formation. Parker has been a great buy so far though, looks like he's been in the team for years already.

My only concern is still the 'other striker' issue, really hope we're still talking to Internacional about Damiao as he looks quality.
