Tbf I want to forget about Ndombele and Lo Celso too...

Im all seriousness I wonder if someone mixed up the particulars of the Udogie deal when it came to loans, thinking he was joining in the summer when he's actually on loan right now.

Emerson Royal still gets to start. Wtf.

Having to eat my words here. Royal probably had his best game for spurs. Loved him winding up Grealish. PEH was also really good. Even Hugo didn't do anything daft.

Now that he’s got the all-time scoring record, I wouldn’t be surprised if Kane went this summer. And I also wouldn’t be surprised if Pep came in for him again and he bins off Haaland. They got him on the cheap because of his release clause and would make a bundle, and although he’s scored a lot of goals they don’t look as cohesive as they did without a centre forward, and when he has a quiet game they don’t look like they know quite what to do.

It's pretty obvious at this point that major surgery is needed again, much like post-Redknapp except with Mourinho & Conte in place of AVB. Funny that we're most likely getting the same guy back to do this one too.

Yep. The big question is will spurs ever get a transfer fee for any of their outgoing players ever again?

If poch returns he'll likely have lo celso, winks, reguillon and ndombele back at the club. It's like an episode of the Twilight Zone.

Fuck it - let's get Dele back as well.

I'm done with Conte's 523.  It's so so so boring, we've not had any decent chances.  No way we're beating them at home.  It's the first ever CL game I've watched it on a second screen while doing something else.

Sarr is great, he's hopefully a key to a better team over the next few years.

Not a single chance all game. This with Harry Kane up front.

He's absolutely wasted on us - completely wrong formation and build-up play.   If Conte is going at the end of the season, then based on the last two games (remember the Man City game he was not there) I think it's time to cut our losses and try and to rescue the season - Conte ain't getting top 4 or further in the CL.

Conte's had a horrific few months personally, let him go back to Italy and spend time with his family.

It's a zombie club now. We all know Conte is leaving. Players never work when they know the manager is off. It's a fact. Especially when it's a manager who is always angry. He needs to fuck off tomorrow and let anyone else have a go. And change this formation when we don't have the players for it.

The funny thing about this game is that all of the prematch was about the young midfield, who were then the only part of the pitch that got out of the game with positive credit. Sarr looks properly good, big prospect. Skipp less rusty and fitter.

Actually no, Forster was better too. Hopefully he's just shaking off some rustiness as well. I guess Richy wasn't awful either, he really should be starting over Son.
