I’ve got my driving test tomorrow.

If I pass, I’ll drive up to the Lane and take Conte to the airport myself.

No idea, no passion,  no point.

For those who were interested, I passed with 3 minors.

Now, are the lads packed and ready to be sent to the Italian 2nd Division?

I've got a full tank of petrol and a trip to Gatwick is on the cards.

Make sure to give Hugo a hand with his bags - he drops everything these days.

Getting bored with the ‘Kane deserves to win a trophy’ talk I keep hearing on the radio and telly. Harry has played 9 semi-finals and 3 finals for Spurs, and scored, in total, two goals and registered zero assists in those games. He’s had ample opportunity to win something with Spurs, and hasn’t turned up in most of our biggest games.

Reports are that Conte will not be staying past the summer. We’ve seen what happens to teams that know their manager is leaving at the end of the season. They should let him go now and save the transfer window for the new guy.

Let him go now and we'd have to pay him off though? We know if there is money to be saved then Levy will take the cheap option. Conte does look pissed off enough to accept a mutual termination though.

It would be madness to let Conte buy any players this window.

Exactly - there’s no way that Levy will fund anything for a manager who isn’t sticking around. We’ll end up in the same boat as now, with players that don’t fit a new manager’s system.

However we both know that Spurs are always likely to pick an option that makes no sense. Part of the magic of supporting them.

Looks mint on YouTube highlight reel ;)

His stats make good reading - nearly a goal every other game and plenty of assists as well.

Need to get Porro over the line now - having a proper RWB we might actually start seeing the point of Conte’s system.

Porro deal off.  Apparently Sporting changed the terms at the last second.  Spurs could add another million to meet the release clause to force the transfer, but they'll have to pay the entire amount in one go if that happened.

It's been a farce from the start. Typical Levy it seems. Just offer what they are asking for - if you don't want to pay it then look for another player. This has been dragging on for weeks.

To be fair, they had agreed terms on Friday, and allowed Porro to play in the cup final. Sporting then reneged on the terms of the deal. Yeah, we can blame Enic for not just paying the release clause, but Sporting had verbally agreed to whatever they did offer. This is karma for pinching Danjuma from Everton.

Back to Denzel Dumfries ?

The continuing trend of spurs being unable to get a fee for any of our players.

That should give you an indication of the quality of our bench players. No bugger wants to buy them, they just go on loans perpetually or have their contracts terminated like Doc and Aurier. Surprised Doc’s gone permanently, as I thought it was a loan until the end of the season. He’s a better RWB than Royal for starters.

EDIT - apparently Spurs had reached some sort of limit for outgoing loans 🤷‍♂️

Yeah it looks as though the Doherty one was down to the loan limit rule. Probably a last resort in order to get porro in. Ah well - I don't think I'll miss him.
