Edargyle, do you have an RGB lead? I do and it makes one hell of a difference even on a standard definition tv. Very lush.

(of course HD is better...but when you can't afford it yet...)

Oh guys, a mate of mine couldn't join us last night, turns out his router doesn't like the xbox's wireless connection with this game. His solution for joining games online: USE AN ETHERNET CABLE.

Jesus, can anyone finish the multiplayer coop missions? They are insane!

Haven't tried customing the mode so allow infinate respawns yet, mind...

You can view the single player stats from the menu in game - but is there a way to bring up your multiplayer stats? I want to see how I'm doing! Has to be only another 400 headshots until I get the achievement ;)

RGB cable? Umm oh dear, really going to show my technical ignorance here. What would that be then? is that a SCART lead. Would I have to get a specific one for the 360

I'm using the cable I got with my premium pack which I thought was a SCART, it has 6 end connections I'm assuming one set of three is for HD-TV's and I use the other three connections into the front of my TV \ Surround sound system.

I've got one of these other connectors lying around that would enable me to put the three plugs into a scart socket but I don't use it.

Umm does this make any sense. thanks again for any advise!! ;)

;)

What framerate troubles? This game has tearing as bad or worse than Perfect Dark Zero but the framerate was rock steady in the four hours + I played of multiplayer last night.

The Cove level, for example. It's fine, as long as you don't look right into the middle of the level.

How can you call it a budget title glammed up when you're not taking into account the single player? Go play Burnout Revenge.

Well, I would, but some company decided I'm not allowed to on my shiny 360.

Sorry, but you're really irritating in this thread. Stop trying to stand out..

Yeah, I got progressively drunker as the night went on, hence the slightly cringe-worthy posts. TBH, I have no idea what I was on about regarding the 'same levels as GR:SS'.

It's essentially a scart lead, yes. But it's an optimised one that allows for crisper visuals, brighter colours and a steadier picture overall.

They call it an 'advanced scart cable'. Get one specific for the 360, it'll cost you about 18 quid. You just have to plug it in scart socket #1 at the back of your telly and there you go. by the by...the scart socket at the back of your tv has to support RGB (stands for Red, Green, Blue). It will if your tv is younger than 10 years I think.

This game is the tit's! Easily best game out for X360 right now in my opinion, been playing pretty much all day, totally stunning graphics and the the warfare is unreal..

Stopped playing during the "night, blow up bunkers mission" got too frustrated ;)

I'm not very far in, the 3rd mission I think where you are in the ruins of the recently destroyed building trying to defend VIP2. That bit is my stand out moment so far, the music that kicks in half-way through that encounter is perfect.

I died about 10 times trying to do it but every replay was pure joy.

More please!

I've only completed the second mission but it's great so far. Mind you, some of the baddie soldiers when they're popping in and out of cover can look a bit glitchy. They jump up and down so fast, it almost looks like they're flickering on and off like a badly maintained fluorescent strip light. When everything else around you is so graphically good, little things like this just remind you that it's a game.

Can someone help me out here, I fear my game is bugged.

I'm on the level where you are legging it over the rooftops, clearing the anti tank roadblocks whilst your tank(s) trundle along the streets below. What's happening is the two tanks appear at the start, but only one of them will move forward. This goes on for a bit, I clear the first two road blocks with one tank following. Then I get to section where the tank meets up with another, and at that point there's no where else to go. The map obviously continues along the rooftops but I leave the current play area if I move on (screen goes fuzzy, get yelled at for leaving the combat zone, mission fails).

It appears that the first tank is stuck somehow, and I can't progress until it moves up to meet it's mates. Trouble is, it won't.

I've restarted the mission and the same thing happens. One tank moves, the other just sits there.

What's the deal here then? Is it suppose to sit there? If so, how do I progress?

Only played Training and Level 1 so far, but seems a great game so far. I was going to swap CPD2 once I had this, but the games are so far apart in terms of style and execution, is worth keeping both. I am finding GRAW a LOT harder, I need to play this one more.

Cheers to Meerman for inviting me to online play, but given my general shiteness at these games, I need some good time on single player before I jump in online.

Stuck where I have to get into this base and put a load of C4 on three buildings - it's a bastard. I've retried so many times that it pissed me off all the way to Fight Night - which is alright!

Yeah. I was stuck there for a while. Reaching a checkpoint on low health is a tad annoying considering there's no way to top up health. Did it in the end but the level after that is annoying me now. Still, the game must be doing something right as I'm still playing it.

I have to say. On the whole the visuals have been incredible, but there's more pop-in than I expected. It's most noticable as you go around a corner, with small objects just appearing as if by magic. The sound has also been rather impressive, with some impressive directional effects even on plain old stereo.

Ah, fair enough.

It's annoying with fucking spastic team-mates though.

I'm zoomed-in, shooting infidels, and...MY TEAM RUN IN FRONT OF MY FUCKING SCOPE WHILE I'M SHOOTING!

"Sir, we're on your side!"

"THEN STOP RUNNING IN FRONT OF ME WHEN I'M FIRING MY PISSING GUN!"

You have to tell it to clear/destroy the first enemy vehicle (empty truck) so it can get past. I think that's where you are anyway.

As in the co-op 'Campaign' missions?

If so, we completed all four of them last night & tonight and even got the achievement for completing them 'perfectly (all primary and secondary objectives completed)' as well.

This is why I kept turning down your invites Meerman. Our 'expertise' lead to us to start taking others through under our guidance.

Bugged to fuck. I've enjoyed the multiplayer a bit, and I'm racing my way through the single player campaign, but it really is terribly unfinished in places.

Tonight I came across a stinker of a bug on the rooftops, where the objective complete isn't triggered and it renders the level incompletable. Solution was to restart the level. It's not quite Boiling Point but it sure has some terrible terrible bugs.
