Broker
Interesting stuff in One Piece today: I'd thought for a while that Donflamingo might be a celestial dragon, because of the way he's treated by the navy and the government. I'm always anxious to hear stuff about the wider world.

Girth Certificate
ah christ there's a new Attack on Titan chapter today edit: the one I read has the pages totally out of order, which makes it even more unintelligible than usual. Fail

Retroid
Crunchyroll have started doing Manga for those interested, they've got some available for Free and Premium users but they've got a new plan for if you want all the Manga/Asian drama. http://www.crunchyroll.com/premium_comparison Tbh they haven't got that much but it's still early days, might be worth keeping an eye on! Girth Certificate
there's a new chapter of Attack on Titan out but the translation is fucking abysmal, barely english, I'd wait until someone does a better job. EVERYONE IS TITANS, FUCKING TIMESKIP! Finished Monster today, the whole series was great but the volumes leading up to the end were on another level. Snowman
Seven Seas has licensed The Lucifer and Biscuit Hammer. I only ever read the first few chapters so this'll be an opportune moment to get back on board.

Talvalin
Downloaded Manga Rock on my S3 and then burned through the original Battle Angel Alita in a week. I accepted the ending when I read it way back when, but on re-read it's painfully clear that there was a big setup for things to happen beyond Tiphares that amounted to nothing in the final book. I'm now working my way through Last Order and it's been good so far, albeit with a few too many random science info-dumps.
Broker
God I love the science info dumps, they're one of my favourite things about it. I felt the same about the ending, with no knowledge of why it was ended like that its ok, but when you read it knowing its impossible to miss the foreshadowing of something bigger than the original series ever explores. Last order is fantastic. Just brilliant.
Talvalin
Last Order does go in the direction I expected from the wind-up of the first series (ignoring the last book), but I am enjoying it but it is less consistently excellent that the original series: the art feels unfinished at times, some of the fights just go on forever and he's also ret-conned Alita's final mission (before she wound up in the Scrapyard). I was willing to suspend my disbelief to accept giant cyborgs, mystical martial arts and all the other wackiness, but vampires? In a space opera? No fucking way. Professor Puzzles
Well, I just finished Punpun. If you can handle some depressing, bleak material then it's well worth it, it really smashes your head in.

Broker
One Piece Oh my, Sabo & Koala!! That panel when he saw the guys face was fantastic. After Big Mom last week I can't believe the Revolutionary Army are there too. It will be interesting to see what Robin says when they meet her. I really hope that Luffy meets Dragon soon. Girth Certificate
fucking hell the most recent chapter of Aku No Hana was tense. I felt ill on the bus reading it. And basically nothing happened
Broker
One Piece: If you'd told me after the last few weeks that this chapter would be all Usopp, Robin, Franky and the gnomes (easily the least interesting location/group at this point in the story) I would have been pretty disappointed. Luckily Franky is fucking awesome.

Talvalin
Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer was fucking epic. If there isn't an anime it needs to happen soon. Burned through Attack on Titan and I liked it a lot but damn if that artwork isn't a bit shonky at times (presumably the anime is better?). I read Zetman immediately afterwards and the difference in quality is astounding. That said, the story in Zetman is progressing at a glacial pace. Get on with it man. Broker
Burned through Attack on Titan and I liked it a lot but damn if that artwork isn't a bit shonky at times (presumably the anime is better?). It's more coherent in the anime, the drawings look like they're slightly askew or have an odd perspective in the manga to my eyes. The colour also helps with the fact that loads of the characters look essentially identical.
