Dead Or Alive are actually fairly credible and made a lot of good music in the eighties. There's a lot more to them than You Spin Me Round, ya know.

Apparently it's at numbers 11, 40, 87 and 89 in the iTunes top 100 at the mo'. So it's doing alright for him. Easily number one over all i think.

GLC are excellent, granted their recent stuff is nowhere near as funny as their music before they became recognized, but it's still the funniest thing in the charts. They really don't take it that seriously and i don't think they're really bothered about all the fame and stuff. Fame in their home town in Newport was plenty for them.

They need to sell records to keep their recording contract, funnily enough.

Yeah, Pete must be sick of that song. Apparently Sony want to re-release it (again) when he comes out of the house. The video I posted and the album it came from were only released in Japan.

He said at the start of BB that he'd had to sell his house and 30 years of his back catalogue to pay for the corrective surgery on his face, will be interesting to see if he does release anything.

good lord

All I want to do today is show you just a tiny selection of the texts I recieved on coming out of the Big Brother House of Horrors. Nothing more, nothing less. Brain is still too fried to talk properly and I have been working non-stop since I came out of the flames of Hell...........

In no particular order:

"I am so proud of you babe. You have been so very brave. Missed you so much and can't wait til we can get some time alone babe so we can have a proper chat. Love you millions xxxxxx" - Sarah, nightclub manager

"I thought they were really mean to you in there and they were the ones who came across badly. Suz and I wanted George to go followed by Pete then manipulating Michael then they would be f*cked. George very cleverly recruited the big character Michael, who noticed Pete was also a strong character and they tried sucessfully to gang up and find a distraction from themselves. You keep cool mate. You should get hold of the Guardian yesterday. It had a very good piece about the lack of sisterly support in there by the other women. F*ck em mate, they have a lot more problems than you kid. Max" - Max Beasley, actor

"Luv you Jodie. U were great they r all w*nkers in there. Was on BBB Mouth last Tues defending your honour. Your true friends know the real you x x" - Syd Little, comedian

"Hi honey, so pleased you are out of that horrid place. You're too good to be with those bunch of w*nkers. Was so worried about you. Take care, lots of love Alex" - Alex Best, ex-wife to George

"Oh my god I really felt for you in the nut house! Hope it hasn't been too traumatic. I was really glad to see that you had the strength to stand up to the bitches! With any luck the SHIM will be locked up and the crazy one will be put in a padded cell when they get out. Hold your head high, you were the only one who had morals and you weren't afraid to voice them. Be happy! x x" - Sam, school teacher

"Hi babe, well done for putting up with so much undeserved stick - You're a star! X" - Catherine, Closer magazine

"Jodie, you rock. You acted with guts and stood up to the bullies. Everyone at BB loves you and are proud of you, take care" - Emma, Beat Bullying

"You did so well this week. I can't believe you went out. Totally insane. MB and GG were a pair of rabid dogs. Vile. But well done to you for sticking it out" - Lucian, publisher

"Hope you're ok sweetie. Felt so sorry for you and was sad you had to go through all of that alone. Want to see you soon to give you a big hug but in the mean time, I'm sending you one now. Take care and keep strong xxx" - Lady Isabella Hervey, model

"So gutted you're out babe. You were a gem. British public get it wrong every time. It's just girl voters that are jealous of other girls. Hold your head up high lady and be proud. We put you going up on the stylometer in the mag too. Oh darl, I feel so wound up about this state of affairs" - Oliver, Star magazine

"Well done jod, you were wicked in the house. Don't listen to anything those c*nts said to you. You did everyone proud. Lots of love" - Max, stockbroker

"Jodie, don't take too much of what everyone else says to heart. They were complete w*nkers to you in there. They should be ashamed of themselves. Just remember the people who matter know the truth" - Nicola, police woman

"So sorry you have been evicted hon. But most of the people in there were just nasty vicious disgraceful lowest of the low scum. Sending you a huge hug and kiss. Don't let the bastards get you down! We both love you very much and are here for you if you ever need us x x" - Fathom and Daniel, fashion designers

"Thank God you are away from those horrid evil animals... Just be you. Be happy and know you are loved" - Yvonne, Fight For Life

"Hi babe, I am so proud of you for not bashing Barrymore the bullying git! And you mum and dad were fab on Richard and Judy x x" - Matt, photographer

"Jodie I love you and saw the real you that I know and think the world of. Always will angel xxx" - Emma, PA

"Jodie, despite what happened between you and Fran I don't agree with the way they treated you in that house. It was very cruel. You mentioned the smelly dogs in the kitchen though - how funny!" - Jay, Fran Cosgrave's best mate

"I thought you were ace and the others were really mean to you. Don't let it get you down. You Rock and you were genuine" - Emily Dubberley, best selling author and editor of Scarlet mag

"Hi babe I'm so proud of you for sticking it out with those deranged freaks. I've have walked or killed one of them by now. Can't wait to see you. Love you loads. Come back to normality! xx" - Becky, accountant

"Just want you to know that I love you lots. Ignore what anyone says. Your true friends love you for you. If you come out 2nite i will ring you in a couple of days cos you are gonna be rushed off your feet. If you stay in, keep your chin up. And get back in there, don't hide in a room on your own cos if you do then they think they have won!" - Emma Greenwood, Big Brother 5

"They are all c*nts Jodie. Love you girl" - Danny, motorbike dealer

"They couldn't have put you in there with a bigger bunch of w*nkers if they'd tried. That Pete needs help and as for the way Michael spoke to you I honestly don't know how you kept your cool. I would have whacked him! x x" - Faye, my mate Jim's girlfriend.

I received over 200 texts that night and I still haven't found the time to reply to them all. These are just some that stood out or made me smile. All of the above people are my friends or people who have met and seen the real me. I promise to write again either later or tomorrow with a full update of the bastard housemates. Chantel to win now please people. She's the only one who deserves it. And yes, I did phone her mum on Friday night and she's lovely too.

Who cares anyway? Of course Jodie would get messages of support, she's not demonstrating nothing new there, after all, they are her friends and family. Now she never posted texts that went the other way, did she?

GinzaUK hit the nail on the head there.

Anyway, Dennis is still wanting to show his "Hotrod" to Faria. God knows why though...

Michael is clearly mad and going on about cigars was a bit stupid.  He's scheming again but I don't fancy his chances against George.

He's certainly on the edge of a nervo. And clearly lookiing for a target for his frustration. Wonder who it'll be? Either Chantelle or Pete I reckon.

Because she's a cheap piece of ass who loves the cock?

Pete is clearly a selfish child. "Oh I need fags". I bet you do.

The latest odd from WillHill:

Chantelle  2.25

Preston  3.25

Maggot  7.50

Michael Barrymore  13.00

Traci Bingham  15.00

Pete Burns  15.00

George Galloway  21.00

Rula Lenska  34.00

Dennis Rodman  34.00

Faria Alam  51.00

Why is Faria so goddam unpopular? She seems one of the nicest people in the house.

Barrymore has messed up big time though, and I think it's great that the non-Celeb is favourite to win (although she'll probably become more famous than most of them).

Actually, it reads like a list of "look who I know".

BBC News article on Barrymore case

Barrymore will break after this, surely? Channel 4 have got to be sitting there pretty smug now. Cue the ratings!

Mr Barrymore is currently taking part in Celebrity Big Brother and is expected to be handed papers there.

Now THAT would be funny to watch!

Imagine... "can Michael please come to the diary room..."

I don't think he'll stay in the house afterwards, I think he'll want to (for the usual vapid reason: 'to prove something to myself / others') but C4 lawyers will simply say 'No Way'. Unless they're madder than he is.

it's harsh really, and he'll think it's a sick joke/set up if they give him the papers live on the show...but how fucking good TV is it going to be ;)

get it done channel 4 !

Even Jim can't fix this for Barrymore...

EDIT: Radio 1 (not the most reliable, but hey...) say that Barrymore might be told as soon as later today!
