The latest Honda advert is so cool, i love the song and the bikes and cars ah it just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside and glad that i own a Honda. Fulfilling my dream of humiliating dickheads in flash cars in my £2k Hornet

Yeah, my ex storyboarded it, and stuff.. it was meant to be better, with vehicles morphing into the next, etc... Guess they didn't want to spend a ton. It was initially going to be a bike trying to jump a canyon, failing but then going into a hot air balloon. There's something for you fact fans.

That's really interesting, especially the original concept and how it's completely changed from that.

And it I think it works great as it is, without CGI transformations. I think they might have 'cheapened' it a bit.

And I love the ending "I couldn't have put it better myself.".

Give your ex a pat on the back!

It didn't occur to me until I had seen the ad a couple of times that all the vehicles are Honda ones. It's obvious now, of course. I just swept away by the music the first few times. It's always good to see the full length version though.

Indeed. The reasoning behind the advert was to raise awareness that Honda did not just make cars.

I really liked the ad mainly because it takes you a few vehicles to realise that these are obviously all Honda made vehicles (the red and white colouring helps), and the concept is that Honda make vehicles rather than just cars. I don't think you would get that moment of realisation so much if they were all morphing into each other. And as Amanda says it might have looked a bit silly.

So yeah basically I guess I'm saying your ex's idea wasn't as good as the final ad. <_<
