Gut Wrenching Xbox 360 Brand Film

DOWNLOAD ADVICE:

This is a big file, which will probably break the web site if everyone downloads it all now in the next five minutes. So we suggest people with surnames starting with the letters A to K download it today, and people with surnames from L to Z download it tomorrow.

Also, if you're in an office, maybe only one person could download it and make everyone gather round, instead of everyone downloading it individually? It would really help. And can all people from America wait until the weekend, please? It's very "UK urban" and you won't really understand if it's serious or a joke, like everything we do. Thank you.

I saw this on UKR and couldnt believe it was so bad.

What the fuck is Sean Wright Philips doing? I have never seen such awfully delivered lines in a promo advert.

"For me 360 is all about Control"

"When I am away with England or Chelsea we usually have them in our bags." Presumably he is talking about the Xbox 1.

DO YOU DRAG A BIG FUCKING WHEELY SUITCASE WITH YOU THEN?

Truly awful.

I still can't believe that Microsoft thinks people buy into their marketing hyper-bullshit. I mean, every company has marketing bollocks, but Microsoft's is like 7 magnitudes above everybody else's.

I love the way they keep going on about how you can personalise your Xbox, and make it "your own" and all that shit. Presumably they mean by buying overpriced faceplates and a lot of stickers, but hey, how about I make it "my own" by installing a mod chip and running unlicenced software, emulators, and imported and/or pirated games on it? I doubt they'd be so keen. But that's how I roll, G-money!

For every geek on a cynical internet forum who doesn't like it, there are 100 shambling morons who will lap that up like WKD or white cider.

I doubt it. There's only one type of person who would think this film remotely sweet- Microsoft executives. And they'd all have serious reservations about it anyway.

Lady Sovereign is clearly the kind of star that MS wants to associate with. I mean - She is a great up and coming artist that tackles some of life's biggest issues...

Following her recent Top 30 hit '9 to 5', LADY SOVEREIGN releases her latest, BASEMENT JAXX produced, single 'Hoodie' out November 21st on ISLAND RECORDS. As much an ode to Adidas and SOV’S favourite attire, the track also marks an attempt by SOV to save the hoodie from the current wave of middle England’s alarmist tactics. By dedicating a positive track to her first fashion love, SOV aims to outline the absurdity of banning an item of clothing and to draw attention to the greater social issues at heart. Check out the www.savethehoodie.com website for more information.
