I think mine's at level 15. It's a slog - I used to frequently fill most of my pallet with Yohmei crossbows - and when it's only one bolt the damage is shit. Stick with it though, with two bullets it's acceptable and from what I've seen, three is carnage.

Compare the damage the Vahras take early in the video to near the end. The less HP you have, the more the damage.

Also, bear in mind that this was at the level 80/10 cap, and with the level 30 Bullet cap.

I have it on my Guntecher, but it's kinda useless in party play for me as I like to heal my team-mates.

But yes, I can see the shitness that's involved with the ridiculous amout of damage that a GT can do. Still there's always level 20 protan...oh wait. How about level 10 wartec...oh wait. You get the idea. Only other class I've got semi-decent weapons for is Fortegunner, which mainly involves shooting stuff in the face with these fine leather phantoms I bought for cheap. Really can't wait to level some more rifle bullets, at a high-ish level they do some sexy awesome damage. Still, there is always crossbows. Which do kick plenty amount of booty. As a GT bullets tend to do around 300-350 a bolt, which combined with strafing and wand/other stuff in the right hand can make a good combo. I'd love to see a Fighgunner use them, the S rank crossbows may have better ATP but the stupid attack difference from Fighgunner to GT should easily outdo that. Plus you can do some damage in the right hand.

Levelling crossbow bullets faster after 11? UH-OOOHHHHHHH! Well it is to a point, but it still makes you want to murder Sega in the face. Well more so. Dread to think if Zangenga takes longer to level than the other bullets. Still, I can't see anything else preparing you for going from level 20 (2 bolts in worst pattern spread ever, lvl 2 status) to 21 (3 bolts in a useable pattern, lvl 3 status).

Best moment of MAX G so far? Being kicked from a party after flaxodis pantolac dropped. Well, after someone had picked it up. Well, after it got given to me. Failure of the highest order, most commendable.

As for Yak Zagenga - I'm getting about 410/bolt at lv16 with a 74 Fighgunner with low HP. And yeah, it levels painfully slowly!

Yeah, I'm back now after leaving abruptly. I'm still going to be soloing Sleeping Warriors C until the evening, simply because levelling just feels right there. Any other person drops in and it all goes out of kilter - you either one-shot too few enemies at the low level and you have to run more times, or you have to up the difficulty, stand there popping shitty enemies several times with a shitty bullet, get depressed over it and then quit levelling it altogether.

It's like Absolute Dance - you simply have to be left to your own devices to get it up to a reasonable level without being bored. at least I'm levelling once every one and a half runs, with each run lasting only 6 minutes. and that's instant kills all the way, so there's no sitting around doing fuck-all with a pea shooter.

I'm not too fussed about the two-bullet spread on 11 - it's all going to be about popping Megistaride, running up to some level 140 delnadian and then blasting him in the back for double damage.

Also: has anyone tried Boma Maga? it sounds Fabulous - 100% chance of Freezing on anything that's suspectable? like over at Caves with all those bastard Vandas? HELLZ YEA

Not yet, though I partied with a Fortegunner who had it at 40 during Moatoob GBR and it was just immense - ate through his photon charges though. Not sure of its use until you get to lv21 though - at 1-10 it freezes one enemy and 11-20 two enemies, 21+ three enemies which seems like it might be the sweet spot.

Just got Zangenga to level 8, already feel ill from running SW too much - even came across a fucking Orgdus map, although it's pretty uninspiring on a C run! Bought an Aikasoki for a spare 'new' crossbow, and then grinded both that and a Mamba to 5, although the Mamba broke once. Can't wait for 11, mainly because of the level 2 SE.

Right then, Time Trials didn't happen tonight so we played the Egg Thieves instead for a change of pace. Good fun.

We managed 13:20 with Dave levelling a shotgun bullet for the entire mission on MAG, this is definitely doable!

Can we get a guaranteed night/time for everyone to be available this week? I heard something worrying about Marc being on evening shifts this week which might fuck us, as apparently the leaderboard closes on Thursday which is why I wanted to have a go tonight.

I can feasibly make 6pm-12 midnight any night this coming week - if you guys can post your availability up then that'd be great.

PS: Carriguiruc boards are about 3.2mil at the moment.

Happily plugging away on S with Marc, Willei and Ruby, then my net dies. Not just a LOLFINALROOM/BOSS disconnect, net dies. Works again around 1am, but decided to call it a night. Must have been the catilium AND zagzac dropping at once killing my connection. Good times, especially getting that bloody shotgun bullet up to 21. Now I can give a crack at my fire rifle bullet.

Egg Thieves is not only fun, it is also seriously quick. We got 11 mins on A. Which gives 350MP. Which is probably better than MAG for it. Looks like some decent drops as well, plus around 18k for not much work. You can just run past most enemies. Very confusing mind, I suggest looking at these maps for some tips:

Still need some more gold badges for PAs, but I might just get cracking on levelling my alts up a bit.

In Time Trial news: just waiting for the site to refresh, but we did it in 10:54 on the first attempt (419th), 10:4X on the second attempt (3XX), and on the third attempt:
