GUARDIANS BOOST ROAD

The GUARDIANS Boost Road will give you a special bonus for focusing your efforts into a set of missions for a limited time. The first Boost Road will start at the Moatoob Flyer Base and includes the following missions:

System Defense

Desert Terror

Tunnel Recapture

Caves of Ice

Awoken Serpent

The more ranks you earn on all five of these missions the higher your drop rates for missions on the boost road will go up, to a maximum boost of 50%. Your bonus is based on which of the Boost Road missions you have done the least, so be sure to work on all five missions to most effectively build your bonus.

In future updates the Boost Road will be moved to other sets of missions. The Boost Road will also vary between different types of rewards, such as experience or mission points.

Love is in the air as Valentine's Day hits the Gurhal System with very special decorations! Take this time to find that special Guardian you've been thinking of and tell them how you feel. Keep an eye out for a special rare enemy who may be carrying a heart warming surprise.

Casino-Voloyal uniforms are now available for Females, including parts for CASTS.

New My Room items are now available in the variety shop and for exchange in the Casino. Some existing Casino items will no longer be available, but will return in rotation.

NEW PARTNER MACHINE UPGRADES (AMBITION OF THE ILLUMINUS ONLY)

Extra evolution devices for partner machinery have been added. They are useable on all GH4xx types if required conditions are met. And "GH470" and "GH480" are new partner machine models.

Inventory Expanding Device:

The "NanoTrancer EX" is able to expand inventory of Partner Machinery. With this device, your Partner Machine's inventory will be expanded by an additional 50 items. You can use more then one to double your PM's inventory from 300 to 600 items.

Given the Valentine's Update, it's possible that it's next week's update. But seriously, NRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I'm back from my ban but have been informed that I have 6 outstanding complaints against me and that I will likely be handed a life time ban, all for selling that one stack on. So if I were you, GViper, I'd hang onto those grinders. I am going to open another account and cancel my current one. I'll lose my character levels and that but with the current easy rate of EXP it shouldn't be too much of a problem to level up quickly. I asked the rep to check my log for how much I profited and take that much from me but apparently it's too late. He did me a favour by warning me really but it's still a bit of a piss take.

So I'll be sending invites out to you lot on my 'reserved for PSU tag'.

Looks like the second update IS for next week, according to a 'Helper-Elf' during the Newman Knights event that's started on the PC/PS2 servers.

EDIT: Oh, and details about the English Maximum Attack G will be announced late Febuary, and all current content will be brought over at some point or another. Although that's obvious, as the ENG-PSU team uses CTRL+C and CTRL+V when it comes to updating the server code ;p

I thought so, too. They've said that by buying and reselling I've gained from the glitch. I didn't mind the two day ban so much but I think it takes the piss a bit that they let me back on, only to tell me there were outstanding complaints against me, made by people from the official forum who saw my shop come up when they were searching for grinders looking for people to report. I rarely visit that hit hole, so I didn't know anything about the glitch. It's weird because I sold a stack of them for 40K each. I've been on today and they're currently priced at 700 each. I just can't work out how they can even contemplate a ban for me in that scenario. These grinders were sold hours before it became common knowledge that there even was a glitch as well.

Ah well, fuck it. I started a new character on a new account. The only thing I'll miss about the old guy is my PAs. I'm level 18 now and probably won't be playing again until next week but I'll look you guys up next time I'm on.

EDIT: actually, looking at RandomFury's forum, they have a point - the 'Unexpected Bug' could turn out to be the Grinder Glitch itself, and an additional fix is being included and the whole package re-verified by MS. Fucking grinder glitching spackers!

Yup. It was people from the official forum. A few of them came into my room calling me a glitcher, I responded by putting that notice in my add. It doesn't matter anyway, I've been emailed by the Sega rep informing me that my account has been investigated and has been deemed not to have been involved in the glitching and thus will not be banned. I'm not sure what to do now. I got a GL on a new tag yesterday and moved all my stuff over.

On one hand you've got these guys who exploit glitches to utterly stupid and obvious levels (the guy who suddenly produced 2000 S+10's out of thin air a month or two ago before the glitch was let loose), and on the other hand you've got a bunch of people who go around seemingly indiscriminatley reporting people without fully understanding the stories or reasoning behind things. Maybe they're desperate to be GM's or something.

I think the GM's have handled the bannings quite badly. Uneven and overly harsh bannings for some people, not even a caution for others who are quite probably doing much more harm to the game. It's a sad time in the history of PSU.

The fella I spoke to yesterday made it seem like I was a real life criminal and that I'd soon be banished, never to return. He then messages me back today saying something along the lines of "we've checked the log and it seems you were telling the truth all along, be careful in future and welcome back". No apology for banning me in the first place and no apology for putting the shits up me yesterday.

It's good news on not being banned, but bad news on the timing of getting a new Guardians License. Guess it'd be more hassle to move your stuff back now, but cheaper in the long run if you cancel the GL and cancel the XBL account before it goes Gold.

Looking back now at all the hassle been caused, it makes you wonder what ST couldn't have done if they'ed pretty much taken the servers down as soon as it happened and at least attempted some kind of short term fix.

I think the issue there is that if they needed to make any fix to the actual client, it would involve MS certification. Good luck with that. That said, they managed to disable gachas without a client update so why they couldn't have disabled delivery too...

All it needed was something on your vision phone, an exclamation mark, a message saying delivery is disabled until further notice, and everyone would have known in little to no time. As it stands we have to rely on speculation and DRAMA on the INTERNETS; which is a shame really.

Yea I picked up 200 yesterday for 2.5k a pop. If anyone actually needs any and can't get them cheaper than that, i'm more than willing to sell for what I paid. They won't be in my shop though so you'll have to ask me for them.

Had a good few runs on De Rol Le with Donk, regardless of the lack of updates - I picked up a Shigga Desta board (which worked!), a Ranpegi, and we are sharing the spoils from a B'duki Boa board. No Soda Riban board, though.

Picked up a personal stack of S+10s, as well - at the rate I'm going with them (example: the second I got the desta out, I grinded it to 3/10), I might need to buy another 50 before the game's up.

...Well, Fenix suggested that he might leave the game for a week, and it sounds like a champion idea to me. I'm reaching my limit on what I can do with Richard, and I simply cannot be bothered with levelling alts.

And I can't be bothered with the Event. Or the old missions without the boost. Or the new missions, full stop. Which leaves hunting shops for useless tat and ARARGARHGARGHARHARGHAH.

Funny thing is I did exactly the same thing a year ago (almost to the day) , but ended up quitting for 6 months. In fact its almost 6 months to the day that I came back, so I wonder if I only have a tolerance of 6 months for this game

Yeah, I'm finding my enthusiasm waning quite a bit for the game at the moment too. Maybe not to the extent of quitting for six months but I certainly can't see myself spending much more time on the game this week when we already know what's coming, making hunting for items pointless at the moment.

That and the game's not really a great deal of fun when nobody's on. Playing with randoms is alright until you get used to having a regular stream of people to run with, then it just seems like way too much hassle...

Yeah, it's simply all boils down to Friday's anti-climax - I'm sure most people would have happily carried on with running the winter event if nothing was in the pipeline, but as we now know what's coming around the corner, I simply cannot stand for second-best!

I'm coming back once the update hits, though. it's going to be a BARNSTORMER of an event, I'd go as far as proclaiming this will bring as much content as the expansion launch! well, almost.
