The acquisition in question is a Degahna Cannon 6/6 purchased for 16 million, of which I have to thank Donk again for lending me the money to purchase (also helped me buy my Blackbull 7/9 too).

Its stats are better than my Meteor Cannon 3/10 and it feels so substantial when you use it. Only problem is it can't be used in first person due to nearly blinding you when using it. Still, if any GT / FG / PT wanna give it a go while i'm about, it'll always be on me from now onwards so feel free to ask.

Nice!

Love the sound of it blowing the screen out when you use it in FPS, I'll have to borrow it for Richard's Protranser goodness, specifically for the task of flicking the roof switch on Protectors A.

I can't really think of what I want atm when it comes to S-Ranks, Other than another Kan Yu. Most of the bases are covered for Richard, and I'm not into Ranger S-Ranks at the current moment.

...Actually, who am I kidding? Rikauteri and Gudda Hon, plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. At least until Maximum Attack G comes along and I can grab some Twin DB Sabers!

My hunt last night didn't go so well but I came out of it with quite a few Catilium and the like, as well as another character level so it wasn't all bad. I'll probably be doing it again tonight, though I'm not sure why; I don't even use swords anymore, it just looks so nice.

Funnily enough: I just sold my Shigga Destac 8/8 for a tidy profit. I don't think I'll be back to FG for a good while yet, and if I do I've got a Shigga Bomac 9/9 sitting pretty in my PM.

I wish Foretefighters could use whips. That might sound an odd wish when you consider the fact that they can use more or less any other melee weapon already but I miss them.

That's the thing.

It's not. Someone was trying to get me to take one in part-trade for my Hard / Power Charge earlier.

They also had a Tiller Look (3*) which was even more mental.

I just looked at the stats for Izlucre aswell, and those grinding rates are ridiculous. Excluding the pitiful accuracy they'd have, the 10/10 stats are nearly on par with the Hirokteri / Rikauteri :angry:

Reckon if we all tried we could guilt trip donk into trying to grind his Psycho Wand up to 5/10?

His diga's catching mine too fast now, I can't have him having a good diga and a good wand that's still /10 otherwise I'll just look inferior.

So do you reckon it' s worth my while getting a halarod for each of the 4 main elements, and slotting the light and dark in wherever else they fit? I got a 2/10 one for 350k yesterday, which is the same as what i'd have had to spend on the rest of the materials and grinders to make it anyway, so easier to just buy it. I have lightning and Ice covered now, but still fire and diga on wands that run out far too fast because diga uses so much pp at level 35.

I have a Halarod for every element - you could get away with a wand/TECH-Mag for Dark though (Megid and Ramegid should do you just fine, Dammegid is a bit useless so far), and a Granarodoc/similar for Light as Giresta is unreasonably powerful no matter what you cast it with.

It's probably worth carrying a spare wand or two with you, especially if you're used to mainly using them - rods are great for Dam- and Nos- techs but sometimes it's worth having the versatility to be able to attack quickly when you need to. For instance, against Golmoros. Unless you're using Nos-something then a rod is a just fast way to use all your PP.

My FT Palette:

1. Halarod (Light: Regrant, Giresta, Reverser, Resta)

2. Psycho Wand (whatever is appropriate for mission)

3. Ranpegi (Megid/Ramegid or Diga/Radiga) and Serdote (Reverser/Resta)

4. Halarod (whatever is appropriate for mission, 'second element')

5. Ulteri (Generally ice but I'm levelling some of Donk-Bot's lesser-used arts at the moment)

6. Granarodoc (Buffs)

Spare in my inventory are five more Halarods, one Serdote and one Ranpegi.

The PS2 version of this recently saw a sequel/expansion - will the 360's version come via DLC?

I have no idea whether you will be able to download the English-language version to use with your JP copy of PSU though. Asking on PSO-World or the official forums is probably your best bet.

I've made a post on PSO-World about it. I'm doubtful though :( it's actually one of the gaming-related reasons that I'm looking forward to coming home, it's going to be one of the first games I buy.

Mental stuff is happening in the land of PSU. Everybody is going crazy because people have apparently figured out a way to glitch grinders. S+10s were selling for 800 meseta earlier today. I bought as many as I could and grinded some stuff up/sold them on for profit. The price seems to have leveled out at about 3K each.

Everyone is calling for a rollback and that seems to be the likeliest outcome. I'd rather they just remove the problem myself as I've had good luck with drops and synths over the last few days. I've also leveled my character quite a bit.

Xbox 360 Title Update 2.0001 Changes

A new title update will be available for the Xbox 360 after the February 1st maintenance that will resolve some minor issues as well as some issues we have been working on for a while including the Photon Gacha text issue, and the machinegun glitch.

If you have not done so already, we ask that all users for both the original PSU and the PSU: Ambition of the Illuminus expansion restart their Xbox 360 consoles after the maintenance and log out of their gamertag accounts after receiving the Title Update in order for it to function correctly.

Once you have logged out of your gamertag and logged back in, you should confirm that the PSU version has been updated to v2.0001 displaying in the bottom left-hand corner of the title screen.

Good to know that the Mechgun glitch is being sorted, though. Expect 10/10 Beam Vulcanics to suddenly drop to four-figures!

They fucking banned me for 48 hours the bastards! :P The thing is I didn't even do the glitch. I was on early today and bought a load of them for 1K a pop, and when the price went up I sold most of them on for a profit (this was before the GM message by the way). I should have just held onto them in hindsight but I thought it'd just be the glitchers receiving bans.

I don't think a rollback is all that likely now. So much time has passed since the update that they'd surely lose a few subs over it.

Fair enough. I think that would be the fairest way of doing things to be honest. However, how were the people that were playing early supposed to know that the grinders had been glitched? I've been playing this game for a long time (from US launch 'til March, then from November up until now) and I've never seen anything like this. I saw S+10s going for 1K a pop, bought a load and then they were gone. The price went back up and I sold some on for immediate profit, then went about my business as usual. It was only later that I was on the official forum and noticed the threads about it. Four hours later I get banned.

I don't mind if they just removed the Meseta from those that profited as it's only fair, although that will be very difficult to do accurately. The ban is a little bit of a piss take, though.
