oh the love rappies are gone... i didn't get to see any ;)

Nor me, let's have our own personal love-in, just me and you :)

I`m finding fortefighter good fun and usually carry 20 weapons :wub:

Which go something like.

1. Hanzo

2. Hanzo

3. Caliburn

4. Twin Dagger

5. Twin Dagger

6. Lockgun and either single Dagger or a Rapier.

And they get switched when drained too. Which is happening more and more :P

I hav`nt seen any rappies of any kind since the Valentines quest started.Then last night after it`s over they turn

up!

I suppose kitting out a Hunter is hardest (read: expensive), as you'd want decent %'s on your weps, unlike RA and Fo who can just add on elements as they wish?

Back on tonight, maybe 8, maybe 9 - depends on Okami, sweet, sweet Okami...

"In the upcoming February 23rd update, Sega of America will be issuing several security-related patches for Phantasy Star Universe and wiping all illegal items. Any item that currently does not drop in the game will be removed from player inventories. Anyone that has been caught cheating will be banned. Cheaters will be determined based on information collected from in-game actions. Players who possess any illegal items and did not participate in any cheating-related activities will simply have the offending items removed."

Well I'll be damned...

Well I'll be damned...

I hope they've tested this carefully, item removal should be easy but the banning 'based in in-game actions' could be more troublesome to define. They tried anti cheater action on GC PSO once, if memory serves correctly. I got banned for 24hours or so for no reason, and I think they did that just based on items in inventories.

It's most S Rank weapons that'll get the wipe mainly as there's only two or three that have been released legitimately. There's also supposed to be a unnoticeable difference between a duped weapon and a legit one, of any type, buried within the code. Hope my A rank Wand is OK...

myello. is anyone on tonight for the wednesday wednesmas? I'll probably be on after buzzcocks again. also there's something over at pso world about an expansion pack?! damnit man.

Yep, this is the same expansion pack that was announced even before PSU launched. Everybody knew this was coming and it's probably the reason for the slow unlocking of content on PSU, in order to create a seemless transition between the two games (and possibly more expansions).

It's good. I still plan on playing PSU until sometime at the start of summer, get to a nice high enough level, and then come back when the expansion comes out. Sorted :(

Ill be around tonight from 8:30-9pm.

New Cooperative Missions Available

There are two new missions that are now available for solo or co-op play.

To get the most out of these missions, we recommend playing with at least four questing players.

The missions are as follows.

Moatoob- Galenigare Tunnels: Underground Lake

-Rouges' Shortcut

Neudaiz- Agata Islands: Egam Outlying Area

-The Eastern Peril

New Free Mission Available

One new free mission has been added. This mission is playable in C-S Rank

difficulties and can be accessed in the GUARDIANS Colony.

GUARDIANS Colony- Hive No.3: Central Control Room

-SEED Awakened

New Rank Boards

Rank 10 and 11 Boards will now drop in missions throughout Gurhal.

New Photon Arts

Tired of the same old Photon Arts? Don't fret! 22 new Photon Arts are now available

and can be acquired through missions.

Users are now able to exchange PA fragments upon visiting the vendors located

in the GUARDIANS Branches on Moatoob, Newdaiz and Parum.

The list of the newly available Photon Arts are as follows.

Bogga Robado - Knuckles Skill, 3 Hits

Tornado Dance - Double Blade Skill, 1 hit

Splendor Crush - Twin Blades Skill, 3 hits

It should be said that the new HIVE mission is the one with the final boss, Dulk Fakis. You can only see his 2nd form if you fight on S-Rank which seems to make sense. Still, this must mean we are getting nearer the end of new areas left to unlock right?

Also, Ive read on PSOW today that if you go into FPS mode you can toggle goggles on/off there, saving you switching to the palette. Pretty good stuff, if true.

I should be online tonight looking to try out the new stuff, as I haven't yet.

No idea about the last bit, but the rewards for Lab Recovery S2 is sick. 159 MP for S Rank :P Anyone up for suicide runs :P

Got me 3* luck today, so I'll be hitting Neudaiz like a mofo, oh and breaking my weapons, of course.

Whats the minimum level required for Lab Recovery? I popped on earlier and nobody was around so I had a look at Linear Line S2 requirements and its set at lvl60 so assumed the rest would be higher than that?

Hope you didn't break too many Hyper. :lol:

I might make it online early evening Saturday, but should definitely be around Sunday.

Think the last scheduled update was always for next week. Beep, Darkstone and DS9 came on, as I did, around 10.30-ish. As it's Comic Relief on the telly, and I'm too tired for Okami, I'll probably be on-line all evening.

I've popped on a few times this week but nobody has been on. Most of the time I've had to play mostly with boring/rude/abnoxious/americans (delete as applicable). I got your message Hyper, but I haven't seen Monty/Tilda for a while now. Are any of your going to be around this Easter weekend?

There's a chance I'll be about tonight, but if I am it'll be later, say 10.30-11.00-ish. If not on tonight, I'll be on at some point during the weekend, but at a later time time. Tilda is having an indefinite break, and I've not seen Monty myself since Matilda went.

This week, I've had some time off work, so I haven't been logging on for much more than a synth, as I wanted to break out of my daily routine for a bit, rather than mindlessly logging on as per usual. To be honest, I'm chewing over whether or not to renew my sub after this month's. A lack of a regular crew, and stubbornness of the US players camping outside the same old spots, has had me wondering this week, when I do log back in for a game, where can I/we really go? And with the game's whole /synth/fail dynamic, it feels a bit like playing a slot-machine that won't even throw a few coppers your way to keep you hooked/interested - forget the jackpot!

And to cap off my mini-rant, I was looking over the details and screenshots from the beta of the expansion - and I just didn't care.

Hmmm, this post sounds too miserable, compared to how I really feel - maybe I'm just burnt out or something. I'll try and log in tonight.

Thats alright.

I fully see us not playing by the time summer rolls around anyway. The community isn't there and once Tilda/Monty do leave I honestly can't see me bothering after that. If we are going to go out soon I'd like to go with a bang and have everyone online together and copious amounts of screenshots taken.

I'm pretty busy over this bank holiday so maybe get a game together Wednesday night. Do Moatoob for a change!

Wednesday's good for me - turns out I can't make tonight anyways...

Still got another month under my belt, so shots can be taken. Hopefully Monty will read this and we can all get together again for a last few sessions. Perhaps if we project a large pair of pink shades into the air, Batman-style, he'll heed our call!

Sorry me and tilda havent been around, to be honest we got a bit bored with the game - there didnt seem like much else to see or do. We've started playing warcraft instead, so let me know if any of you want to meet up with us there.
