More midnight resistance up, not to sure over last weeks interview mind. But the rest is aces.

It was funny as hell. Owen sounded like he'd never spoken to a girl before (possibly true, I dunno).

I just dislike interviews period, Mostly because both parties just seem bored. Owen did sound like he was nervous as though.

I think I found it amusing in a way it was never intended to be, but that's all part of the charm. I agree with you on interviews, though, so I'd much rather they stick with having guests throughout the show than shoving an awkward one-to-one interview in the middle of things.

Does anyone know when the next Idle Tumbs is? Listened to all the 'Progresscasts' and I think they're really good and everything, but surely they're stringing the grand return out a bit by now. Can't they just get to the stage where they're able to do them a bit more regularly, and start to call them normal podcasts?

Yeah sorry that spounded bitter. Wasn't meant to. It was largely down to us announcing that we were going live on Sunday night.

Unfortunately we can't commit to one evening otherwise we'd do that.

Gotta say it's my favourite gaming podcast at the moment, so hopefully that goes some way to making up for my being a narky cunt before.

hahaha i wouldn't worry about it although it broke my heart a little when he said "Yeah, Genui... ah sorry"

Still though everyone picks up on words people say. We get emails all the time about me saying 'you know' and Sean saying 'Like' and pretty much everything Michael says.

Still i feel the same way about the show. I listen to it as soon as i can after release, it goes straight to the top of my priority list. I remember thinking it was an awful format at first. I was so fucking wrong. Each week and been fantastic.

Yet another good Chet and Jon this week. Also, catching up with Newb review again and I love it. It has this charm of feeling as though it's only made for themselves and hits the funny bone every time. I love Adam's little comments that no one seems to hear, they're always funny.

It's weird though as there are only 2 regular gaming podcasts I listen to now. Newb and Chet. I used to listen to about five a week. I still check out C&R and the AI bits when I can but it still doesn't add Jo to the amount of gaming audio I used to consume.

Rather enjoying the mature gamer podcast at the moment.

Between that Joypod, Midlife Gamer and Midnight Resistance I'm all sorted.

All those shows fit my favourite format of friends talking about what they have been playing and not necessarily the latest and greatest releases.

Can't wait for Idle Thumbs to start up again properly though ;)

Has anyone got recommendations for podcasts doing daily E3 shows? It's this time of year that the wounds are reopened after the deaths of GFW and 1Up Yours.
