It's slightly funny listening to all the Bethesda talk in the first few editions (I only started listening around the time they came back after a previous hiatus, in early 2010), and slight scepticism about Fallout 3 which then became much love for it, now that Nick Breckon is Bethesda's community manager.

Can't wait for them to come back properly, been enjoying the mini progresscasts, and the book podcast they're going to do should be interesting too.

Wonderful news.

Just got to emphasise just how wonderful and unique things is again, just how interesting and stimulating the discussions on it are, how great the guys gel together and just how jaw-achingly funny it is.

I'm up to 12: Manipulated Through Time.

Such an amazing show.

Also, a very good episode this week from Joypod (http://spong.com/podcasts/joypod/462/Joypod-Epiode-50-Big-Pixels). Elmo managed to persuade one of the guys he stalks from Big Pixel Studios (http://bigpixelstudios.co.uk/ Landa Panda, Piyo Blocks, Off the Leash) to come on and talk about what it's like being an indie developer after working for The Man. Very relaxed and informative. Maybe he spiked the guest's drink.

Thanks man, I was shocked about how open the guy was. I didn't think he'd talk hard facts and figures and then he revealed how many downloads OTL got!

They're great guys, we met them at Eurogamer last year.

So I posted on Facebook that the new GFW Radio This Year Collection was out, and someone asked if it was any good as they hadn't listened to the show before.

Guess who asked that question?

Yes, it was Smitty.

Now can everyone please tell him how good that show really was. It was incredible, right?

Whaaaaaaaaat. Smitty, you need to get on that ASAP. It's easily one of the best gaming podcasts, right up there with Idle Thumbs.
