not really a podcast, but an immensly enjoyable show and the guy is in dire need of subscribers, so i urge y'all to have a look:

it's called matt chat and it's the guy from armchair arcade doing interviews with folks from the industry. VERY informative and entertaining, well worth subscribing to:

GiantBomb are doing a truly, truly ridiculous and nonsensical improv QI-esque call-in live stream to 'replace Wikipedia'. Hopefully it'll be up as a podcast later. Those guys play off each other so well, and Jeff Gerstmann has missed his calling as an improv comedian, he's a master of thinking up complete bollocks on the spot.

the 6th of February is our 5th Birthday. 5 years of shit podcasting. can't quite believe we made it!

Here's the rllmuk thread where it all started, although the smilies are all fucked up so ignore me rolling eyes at people when they say something nice:

To mark this special occasion i've been busy this weekend going through some old shows and putting together a clip show of old stuff. Should be published on the 6th. There's not TOO much stuff in it to be honest despite it being 2 hours long, however if people enjoy it i'll put another one together at some point, based on requested clips.

Apparently Garnett split from his wife and is now dating Ariel Angelotti, which might explain why she keeps popping up on weekend confirmed :coffee:

She knows her stuff though, so it's fine by me.

Congratulations elmo and micheal, I always look forwards to listening to your rambling shows. I'd thank sean but he's obviously just in it for the money.

Also, he can't just swan in and then have a 5th birthday party. Fuck that guy. Oh and fuck love film.

Going by comments I would have placed the divorce a year or two ago.

Ariel does know her stuff but she's got a tendency to be quite a disruptive influence on the podcast which I don't remember her being on the Pixel Junk ones.

Best thing this week was Xav burning Christian right at the end.

I wanted to make a joke about how CnR #16 is ruined by someone who is adam capone...

hahaha it was well weird hearing him all serious. Even when we're talking in private we never speak like that. Enjoyed the show though.

I got all excited the other day when I saw the little blue light in iTunes beside my Idle Thumbs podcast feed, But, no. iTunes had just decided to randomly download duplicate versions of old episodes for no apparent reason. :( Why does it do that?

Usually when someone is testing or switching a feed. I'd take that as a good sign if i were you.

I've not actually listened yet. I really enjoyed Digital Cowboys but feel that it's been replaced with Cane and Rinse, so not felt the need to check out digital gonzo yet.

edit: oh and i thought last weeks Weekend confirmed was pretty good.
