Yeah, it was great. Long overdue too as Will has mispronounced that word on the Tested podcast every other week for the best part of a year. It drove me insane that nobody pulled him up about it, then Ryan does it in the most brilliant way. :lol:

BTW, anybody else think this weeks Bombcast is one of the best they have ever done? Cant put my finger on any one reason why, I guess they just had a lot of stuff to talk about and it made for an entertaining show. :)

I have been out of the video game podcast scene for a longtime. Pretty much stopped listening when 1up went titsUp.

Listened to a bombcast and the guys on that irratated me to the point of turning it off after 20 mins (I tried hard to like it). What else is there that's any good?

Where are garnet lee and Luke these days?

Those who love the Bombcast will be pleased to it's the long awaited return of the Endurance Run on Monday. The game they're doing is Chrono Trigger. Hopefully it's another Jeff/Vinny feature.

It's Ryan and Patrick, unfortunately. Ryan is good but Patrick isn't all that entertaining.

Anytime I've given the 8-4 play podcast a go it's been incredibly boring (both in topics discussed and personalities involved), which makes me wonder I've just been unlucky with the episodes I've listened to.

Think I'm ready to give up on Weekend Confirmed. Garnett adds absolutely nothing to gaming discussion anymore, just seems to want to shoe horn any sort of double entendre. This is exacerbated when Andrea Renee is on, it then becomes unlistenable.

It's a shame because Jeff Canatta (1 N, 2 Ts) has single handedly made the show for the past few months.

Yeah, so time to hang up the headphones Mr Lee.

I took the time to truck through a couple of the "This Year" compilations of 1up Yours recently... the difference in the presentation by Garnett and how much fun he is clearly having in the show is clear... it really left WC feeling forced and stagnant.

Totally opposite for me. Can't stand Canatta, and I find Andrea Renee totally inoffensive. Then again I've never understood how anyone could abide the incredibly annoying Caravella on the bombcast. Had to stop listening to that a long time ago because of him.

I've taken to sticking to 8-4 Play, Retronauts, Games Dammit and WARNING! A Huge Podcast.

Vinny's just a nice guy. He's the only one who isn't massively opinionated and doesn't talk over everyone else all the time.

Aye, and I love the fact he often plays random old PC games outta nowhere too.

I fucking love it when podcasters do stuff like that.

Too many hosts think that they have to talk about the latest games, and even worse games that are not out yet. In doing so they panic about spoilers and it leaves them with just discribinf how the game looks and plays. When discussing an old game they don't mind talking about every twist and turn or even the ending. It just makes for a much better discussion.

I wish one of these big gun podcasts did a 'Spoilercast' where the listener knows going in that each game being discussed will be discussed in full. I'd love that.
