Not strictly a gaming podcast, more a tech podcast with a lot of gaming overlap but did anybody else listen to Tested.com's recent 24 hour charity show Octoberkast? They had pretty much everybody from Giant Bomb on over the course of the broadcast plus plenty of other gaming people including two ex GFW alumni, Darren Gladstone and the mighty Jeff Green. It's all archived on the website and on YouTube and there is some absolute gold on there too. Jeff Green's section is predictably brilliant.

:wub: What's great is that's just the first run of the podcast. There's going to be another best of sometime around March with the newer ones after Nick left.

Weekend Confirmed was indeed utterly mental this week, especially the GTA chat.

Seriously, when they suggested how good it would be if GTA was set during 9/11 i nearly smashed my iPhone.

I doubt they'll ever directly focus on 9/11, but it would be interesting if they did, no? Not necessarily good, but it would certainly be interesting.

The podcast itself was pretty bad, though. Unlike this awesome Idle Thumbs compilation.

My gaming podcast search has settled on the PC Gamer cast. It's perfect for my needs, not too many off the wall gags or time wasted on pointless comedy. Great amounts of gaming info (Although it is all PC related) and a nice setup of news, opinion and listener questions.

I like many others wish Idle Thumbs was still on the go, but for now PC Gamer appeases my cravings quite nicely.

But is that the UK or US version?

Haha, the music break seems to have been dropped from Weekend Confirmed. They had Christian Spicer on last week and he got them to play one of his songs, a sub Goldie Lookin Train rap about a scabby cock. He was almost apologising in advance before they played it, then this week Garnett apologised for playing it and dropped the section from the show. :lol:

The music on Weekend Confirmed was always terrible when I used to listen, just awful, bland, bedroom made stuff you'd expect to hear in the background of some dirt cheap television show.

You stopped listening before 'Stanky Dick'? Get involved Tripp, you'd love it.

Gamerdork Rerolled has started wirh a new host. Enjoyed the first one and they said Uzi would be on at some point.

As far as im aware though hes planning to come on the Joydork Christmas special again this year.
