I quite like this section. Seeing how things are taken apart and put back together again is always kinda cool, especially when you realise that the insides of the most complicated gadgets are actually pretty simple.

Norm's watch is incredibly annoying though. I'd have an uncontrollable urge to tear it off of his wrist if I were in the room with them. :twisted:

I'm trying to sign up for the $5/month deal but my card keeps being declined. It's a VISA debit card. Anyone else having bother?

I was looking on the forums earlier and it seems overseas users are all having the same problem at the moment. They will set up a paypal in a few days, but some people have said that those virtual credit card things work too.

I turned it off for about an hour, and have just came back. I have Giant Bomb and Tested bookmarked and I tuned back in via Tested.com. They have different stats for the video audience, so in a completely unscientific survey I thought I'd see which the most popular Whiskey media site is.

People watching via:

Giant Bomb: - 10,250

Tested: - 423

Screened: - 300

Comic Vine: - 182

Anime Vice: 80

I figured Giant Bomb would be the most popular, just not by that much. If that is indicative of normal traffic too then its amazing just how much Giant Bomb are carrying everybody else.

Comedy: Tried to sign up for a year with Mastercard, didn't accept. Got a call from my card company asking me to verify this odd 59p transaction for "Enemy Voice" (Australian operator). I said "I don't know what that is!" and she suggested she close the account and I destroy my card, pending a new one being sent out.

Five minutes later the penny drops and I dimly recall AnimeVice being one of the Whisky Media sites that I never visit :facepalm:

Don't mind Giantbomb but I don't think I'd be willing to pay any money for them. I can wait a week for the other part of the podcast and the higher quality video doesn't bother that much. Plus let's be honest here, the podcast and video will be ripped and uploaded to other sources pretty quicksmart anyway (not that I condone it as such but that's what will happen)
