They should just admit that their tech can’t come close to handling all those people in one small area and either instance it or keep it switched off/make it an NPC battle. It’s shit in its current incarnation.

It's the most fun PVP 'battleground' in the game.

So any new achievements added in after patch? Seen a few mentioned on mmo but didnt check when I was in game >.<

Something about critters, a vampire pet and something else Iza checked last night.

This seems like a good summary of 3.0.8:

This patch has been awful. No new content, and basically every major issue with the expansion remains unfixed. Wintergrasp? Still terrible. PVP in general? Still terrible. Dalaran? Still terrible. Server stability? Still terrible. Balance between dps classes? Still terrible. Lets also throw in a completely untested change to the arenas which forces Blizzard to temporarily disable them.

Why even release the patch like this? So I can top the meter as a survival hunter instead of a beastmastery hunter? Don't get me wrong, I like playing survival. But they sure did spend a lot of time working on our talent trees just to end up switching the balance of power in favor of survival instead of beastmastery. I'm sure Blizzard intends for beastmastery to be doing 850 dps less than survival though. They can do basic math, right?

Lastly a more specific rant. What in the fuck are they thinking with the talent Sniper Training? Am I supposed to just fucking guess how far away from the mob I am? I also like how it's in the same tree as Lock and Load, a talent which encourages me to stand close to the mob so I can trap it. Is there any way we could make this talent more counter-intuitive? "Hold on don't pull yet, guys. I need to measure my distance from where we're tanking the boss by using shaman totems." Nice design.

I stand by everything I said a few weeks ago. Give me one afternoon and I'll balance the hunter talent trees and every pet. I'll cut them all the slack in the world when it comes to say technological limitations and what not, but as far as coming up with intelligent solutions to the most common problems, they fucking suck at it.

Dalaran loads in faster for me.

What are you talking about, this patch is great!

I am feeling that this game is a much lower quality product though. The state of the servers is pretty atrocious, but I didn't really expect this patch to actually fix that though.

I've personally not had any issues so far with the patch, although there was 1 person in guild with the disappearing cursor issue. I've not really noticed any improvements either though. I'm assuming performance improvements will be hotfixed in as and when they've sorted them.

This for me too. Although I've not had chance to give cat swipe a proper workout yet it was working pretty well murdering large packs of Gorillas for chilled meat.

Flying over the very corner of Wintergrasp and getting PVP flagged is annoying as shit. Especially when you land and get jumped by four Death Knights at once, all with '/spit /lol' macros, who then swap to level 1 alts to tell you 'man u suxx, lololol'. I hope they all get lung cancer and die in a fucking pit.

So far I've not had any issues what so ever with the patch. However, what - the - hell has happened to the servers lately.

I get disconnected any time I get near a gathering of 2 or more players. I can't go to Dalaran at all because I'll get booted out. I cant go to the bank/AH areas in any of the cities except Darnassus which is deserted. Also get disconnected when I enter a PvP match or an instance and get booted within 10 seconds of logging in again. Grrrr.

I've just logged out and I'm not sure when I'll be logging back in. I'm suffering from the infamous "15 second stutter" and it's killing the new content for me. I can't even play alts as the stutter occurs everywhere. Until it gets fixed, I'm staying away.

Although my character isn't hampered I'm getting stuttering of other players, as in this Vid, since the patch:

That post was almost JP worthy, Bo.

Speaking of fucking with people, it's the Lunar festival soon. Hundreds of people will be descending upon Moonglade to kill Omen, set off fireworks and meet an elder. That being the case...

..I think it's time I get that last Nightmare's Corruption fragment, speak to Remulos and drag a certain huge spectral dragon and his dozen of shadow bolt spamming shade buddies out of the Emerald Nightmare.

Introduce a little anarchy, upset the established order, etc.
