Yeah I remember that from Loken's speech but I would have thought they'd have chosen somewhere a bit more appropriate like Dragonblight or perhaps Grizzly where there's a bit more tangible evidence of presence. That said, considering he reaches across Borean Tundra, Dragonblight, Icecrown, Grizzly Hills and possibly into Storm Peaks and Zul drak

(The wierd tail/tentacle near the colossus platform in Gundrak has been suggested to be part of Yogg-Saron)

so I guess anywhere is possible really.

You can see one of his many mouths at the bottom of a pool of water in the quarry in Icecrown, apparently.

Also being killed never stopped anyone before. Rivendare, anyone?

I don't know why but I have a real problem targetting the adds. Reminds me, sort of, of the second (third?) boss in MgT in that respect. I have no idea why.

I toggle on the enemy health bars for that fight (press 'v'), it makes it much easier to see the adds if you get void shifted.

Sadly due to the riots no, but that should change after she's finished her exams.

I can do this! I spent Christmas & New Year's in Denmark, we danced around the Christmas tree and I got dizzy whilst they sang songs in Danish. At New Year's I managed to get my hair in a candle and lit it on fire big time, but did my boyfriend the ex firefighter sort it out? NoooOoooOoo!! One of the girls noticed and came running over and just patted it out! Apparently it was a big flame! I only lost a few unnoticeable hairs though, but it smelled funny :unsure:

She actually fainted over xmas. Her dad grabbed her as she fell thankfully, so she was fine. Lack of sleep was the cause apparently. Nothing to do with me, honest >.<

Enter it in the chatbox.

I have /script PlaySoundFile("Sound\\Creature\\Nefarian\\NefarianSlay.wav") bound to every key. :unsure:

Eh, surely that's not real. Why would he be sitting at 3 XP from level 20 on his 19 twink? If he absent-mindedly discovered a new part of map, for example, it would ding him to 20. I just find it pretty hard to believe he's sitting that close to leveling when his intention is to not level. Why even get that close the leveling the first place?

Yeah part of me doesn't buy it either, the setup just seems too contrived. Even if it is real, its not particularly funny. Not in an "oh my god, I feel so sorry for him" way, just listening to a kid cry over a bunch of people who are twats (and lets face it - the people that did this are probably the kind of people that worship 4chan and went to bookstores on the night of the last Harry Potter book release to spoil it for people and put the reactions on youtube) and play a trick on him doesn't float my humour boat.

Anyway, I actually did my first heroic EVER last night. I was a bit late to the party getting to level 70 so didnt really bother then, but seeing as I've made 80 pretty early in this expansion packs life, I thought I should make the effort. I even farmed a load of bonescale snappers to make some hit rating food. It probably wasnt an "optimum" group setup (BM Hunter - which was me, prot warrior, holy priest, DK dps, and ret pally) we did well in Utgarde Keep. Only wiped once, which was on the first boss as the only person dealing with frost tomb (me) got caught in it while i was aoeing some of the skeleton adds. And no-one thought to help me. So I died. Happened again on the second try, but thankfully right at the end, so we made it. Other than that went nice and smooth. Nothing decent dropped - some epic leather leggings, which I would have asked for if they had got hit or crit on instead of expertise, otherwise they were worse than what I had.

Feeling good about that, we decided to try nexus, but the DK (who was a bit of a dick to be honest) said he couldnt and should just go utgarde pinnacle as it was right there. So we did. First boss went down nice and smooth. Second one went even easier. Third one - fuck me if we could do that. We could get to the end of the gauntlet, we could even get the boss down to the ground, but as soon as we did that we wiped in seconds. First time the tank hadnt noticed and was busy with the adds, so he killed everyone, then the healer went oom, so he killed everyone, then the DK pulled aggro on a load of mobs before the tank and died, and we didnt even make it to the end. Last time we had him down the longest, the tank picked him up, but he whirlwinded and pretty much one-shotted the healer. After that the pally tried healing, but didnt have anywhere near enough healing power to keep the tank up, and we wiped. After that, the DK left saying "I wont have the money for repairs at this rate" said some shitty remarks about most of the group (despite pulling the lowest dps) as a parting shot. Shame, as the rest of the group were really nice. Double shame as no one really had anything drop they wanted, except the priest who had some blue leggings which were an upgrade for him.

Skadi is pretty fucking hard though as far as I hear. You've got the frost breath, the whirlwind, the mobs coming out the door etc etc. I handily disconnected at the start and when I managed to get back on, they were still grabbing harpoons and we managed it. Boo ya.

We wiped to Heroic Loken the other day, just couldn't crack it. Will soon though I hope!

Did a few runs late last night, Old Kingdom, Azjol Nerub and VH. I got some sweet drops including (finally!) the tank legs from VH. Fuck yes. I've also got the mats together for the Titanium tank ring and I reckon I might hit that defense cap yet! Need to run regular HOL and get that trinket thing. Also picked up a better DPS chest than I had, Breaksmith got the epic tank bracers, I nabbed a 1h sword no one wanted so I can try some duel wielding at some point. I also blew 120gold buying a libram to enchant a dps head that was almost exactly the same as the one I already had (well, ilevel 170 to 187), I blame being really tired. Now I have to go grind a couple of hundred gold to buy a couple of gems, and a couple of hundred more to get the ring crafted. Gosh darn it.

A man is coming to investigate my random disconnect problem tomorrow too, fingers crossed they sort it out.

Yayyy! I'm Loremaster & The Seeker now. I did it :P

Edit: And some of my guildies are all "gratz, I guess". Apparently, things aren't worth doing if they don't increase your character's stats in this game.

Got Seeker last week or so, but finally got some groups for Icecrown group quests today so got Loremaster. Getting mail from Cairne was kinda odd but cool :lol:

It's pretty sad to have dreams about the enchants you'll get on your newly acquired gear though, isn't it?

I had a similar thing last night. When I stopped playing last night my shaman was very close to 80. Had a terrible time getting to sleep as I kept thinking about what I needed to do once I hit 80. Ended up waking up early to ding to get it out my system. I'm now tired and have a headache so not a good idea.

We have own own inhouse enchanter, but cheers anyway!

The best thing about our guild is that I'm the only Shammie. And mail wearer. :( I've never worn so many epics!
