MAN THE MUSIC IN THAT VIDEO IS RUBBISH. ALL WOW VIDEO MAKERS HAVE RUBBISH TASTE IN MUSIC.

I've been farming Netherwing rep. I'm really glad I didn't do it on Cowfields before wotlk. Doing dailies is a lot more fun when no-one's around. I logged in this morning to do a bit before work and found no less than six eggs while doing the mine quests. Everything dies so quickly and there's plenty of mobs. Doing the mutton one and the relic one is a bit of a chore still, due to the RNG of the drops so I don't always bother with those. But getting there is so easy thanks to my Illidan neck.

I'm not really sure why I'm farming the rep though. For a mount I'll never use because of flightform, but still, I think netherdrakes are probably my favourite flying mount in the game, and I'm an achievement whore, this will send me on my way to my many-mount quota, get me an easy exalted, there's probably a specific netherwing exalted achievement there somewhere too.

If you think thats bad, i'm just about to start a grind from Neutral to Exalted with Cenarion circle just so I can get the Title for exalted with CC and CE. Oh isnt that going to be fun. Still its really just a txt / summon grind with stuff thats no longer elite.

A mate who had rerolled late TBC (thus had neutral CC rep) recently grinded exalted to get his Guardian of Cenarius title. It appeared to take him a day to do it. A day being a Nerd Day, mind, which means poopsock from dawn till dusk, but still. He's a druid though*, I seem to remember our Druidy quests for bearform and the like getting us a little headstart but I may have imagined that, it was so very long ago now.

* So he had to grind CC rep, what kind of druid isn't a Guardian of Cenarius!?

It's not that bad really. Actually it sounds like it's on par with CC rep.

Took me about a weekend. Might be different for you - sorry, I don't know what class you play. As a feral druid you can pretty much endlessly swipe in bearform with no downtime at a virtually constant spawning rate of bruisers. A holy priest friend found it slightly harder when he got oom but he found it fine, just spamming holy nova endlessly.

I really love my hat and pirate garb and it's still one of the more rare titles which is why I love having it.

It's not the grind to be an Admiral you should be afraid of. It's trying to apologise to Booty Bay. now THAT's a horrible grind. I'm not going to bother, the only problem is I shot down any hopes I ever had of winning the fishing tournament, which is a shame as I did kind of want the Salty title. When it comes down to it though, Bloodsail Admiral is still the best title I've seen, it really is the one I'd pick from all of them all other things being equal. Oh and I've a feeling I don't have access to neutral AHs anymore. But who cares, I have alts for that.

The easiest way to get the rep back with the goblins involves becoming hated with Bloodsail again.

I'm not willing to do that. I think my only 2 options to be friendly with both is rescuing the goblin from Dire Maul again and again or killing pirates in Tanaris, and even then I only think that raises Gadgetzan rep.

Bloodsail 4 life yo.

There's a cooler hat than the Bloodsail Admiral One anyway - the First Mate Hat is a (very) rare drop from pirates and looks WAY nicer IMO

Either regularly check the AH for people who don't realise it's value (I've bought 3 that way) or just go nuke pirates for a while :P

Lack the built-in parrot and title of course but also lacks the inability to visit Goblin towns...

Wait for the next patch, the reputation gains have been fixed so that high-level characters get the full amount. Right now you get a reduced amount per kill.

Do what I do and deliberately pick and choose the people you go with so that you'll have no competition. I used to do that on Zul'Aman runs, never picking any other plate-wearers so I could have it all. ;)

yeah I might buy a few, or just run instances again, but this is much better. I will want berserking for my next weapon and it's pretty ridiculous as it is now. It's okay that it takes a lot of abyss crystals though, just think how common void crystals got as everyone farmed Kara.

I guess. I feel sorry for any rogues or warriors that need to get 2 enchants of accuracy or berserking or accuracy though if crystals stay at 100g a shot for a while. Over 2k gold to get them both enchanted. My sorrow will quickly vanish when I get jibbed by some gnome rogue cunt spamming "lol" however.

If any Rogue gets Berserking on a PVP weapon they will get royally fucked when they find out the have no armour left :P

Thankfully Mongoose is still pretty good, although the mats for that (the Essences) are still suprisingly expensive.

Just been chatting to my boss who also plays wow. He has an unguilded rogue that's not 80 yet but these days mostly plays the auction house. Since wrath came out he's made over 40k gold from leather working buying mats from the AH and selling crafted epics. He's bought all the new mounts and still has around 15k left. Its times like this I wish I was better at the auction house.

I'm not saying your boss has no ingame friends or is antisocial or anything but if I didn't have a guild I'm sure I'd start making obscene amounts of money.

It's like, getting epics from arena or raiding takes time, making money is a similar investment/reward thing.

It depends on your economy as well. I don't think the prices on Draenor will yield much of a profit from buying mats, crafting and selling. I mean, LW leg patches cost less than buying the individual mats at the moment.

Cant make much if any profit from the crafted epics on my server if I buy the mats. The frost resist gear has dropped right off now, lucky if it goes for 200g a piece - though that doesnt stop people listing it up at over 1000g. One guy bought a chest piece from me for 350g, and instantly relisted it at twice that. I think it's still on there. I'm tempted to build up a stockpile of armour patches and then drop leatherworking, but I know as soon as I do that they'll add some goodies in a new patch.
