Last few days!?!?!? :(

We've run the whole gamut of the MMO experience from soup to nuts over months and months and months here!!

The highs and the lows, the addiction and the rejection, the denial and the obsession, the nitpicking elitist minmaxing of gear and the casual collection of a million random pets and hats - we've had romance and war (well some duelling anyway) and we may yet see a wedding (Duncan and Stiff or Chant and Jack - your guess is as good as mine) or a brawl (outside HMV Newcastle - any of you poofs - NOW!) - who knows.

Oh yes, it's all been poured into this thread by a varied and highly motley crew of regulars and noobs - seasoned and the cynical - for better or for worse...

Seems likely to continue too 8p

That Warcraft game runs on my ASUS One Netbook (it doesn't even have a graphics card!!1111!!!) Now I never need to be away from the game again :( :( :lol:

Anywho, being lv80 is rather nice, looking forward to instancing properly and gearing up. I've missed that feeling of invincibility.

I only ever managed that feeling once - as a Paladin in Prot/Holy spec with HP, Mana and Resilience coming out of the wazoo (relatively speaking) - it was extremely pleasant to know I was near-unkillable - but, of course, I'd struggle to have harmed a small gnat with any moderate ability to hit back :(

PC is borked atm, network card has probably died. Typing this on a laptop sucks enough, so I dread to think of playing wow on it >.<

I havent raided in any 25 man raids since pre-Wrath, only done 2 Archavon raids for my 4 Emblems of Valor :blink:

So how are people finding 25 mans in Wrath? Hard or easy?

I don't raid - I don't do BGs either (check the "People in Battlegrounds" link at the bottom for those who do) so I'm none of those I guess.

When I did raid I was "The guy who is more and more dismayed at the declining social aspect of raiding and the way COCKS like Noah can totally spoil your game" - didn't see that on the list tho :blink:

Now I'm "The guy who's slowly realising WoW is no longer for him" I guess - WAR? - Barbie Fucking Orc Adventures more like!! *grumbles*

Should of guessed you were not on the list. Like Howard Moon you cant be put in a box, tho I kinda wish I could shove you in one sometimes :)

Quite enjoyed reading those on Wowwiki cheers for posting it.

Anyway, I've probably been a few of em in my time, Mr Mikeless but mainly cuz I play on my laptop while my Mrs watches TV or plays something on some console and I dont wanna disturb her by screaming and shouting down the mic. def played a bit drunk at some point, and there been a few Kara runs where I've been Mister Lucky Bastard.

One of the ones I really hate playing with is The Beggar come across a few of those what with all the DK's flaoting around at the mo, whispering me that you really need a drop that I also need and offering me bribes is not gonna make me let you have it, lets both roll that's the only fair way.

They missed out one tho, people who spend the entire raid going on about the wicked weapon they want off the last boss hence jinxing the drop so they never get it. I know it's stupid but I never talk about loot I want before we've killed the boss that drops it incase I scare it off :D

What happened?

Ex guildie posting on an alt account posts that the reason they can't get enough healers to raid 25 mans is cos they're a selfish 10-man clique. Officer tries to defend and gets slam-dunked with accusations of AH'ing the hearts of darkness & epic gems they needed and falsely saying their account was hacked so they could change their raiding main to DK. Another officer steps in and lists all the people who have left the guild in the last 2 months - explaining them all away. One of those who left saw the posts and chips in with epixx sized posts and screenies of conversations proving his point. Officer requests thread be deleted, and damnit it was!

This is what I could save from my browser cache - formatting sucks:

how many times has your raid group been kept out of naxx because you didn't have enough to go?  ill go ahead and claim you dont care about anyone but yourself and your clique and everyone else can just deal with it. youve made no honest effort to improve anything but your own 10man group and let everyone else out to dry  then you wonder why you need more people for 25 mans and theres so much discontent.  you can act nice all you like but your guildies know when theyre being ignored

Please do not take the time to troll in a recruitment thread and NOT take the time to discuss this with the officers of the guild.

If you feel that there is a clique, then let us know. As an officer, I do a lot to break down cliques and push group work. While I do not have the skills of others, I try and help.

If you are feeling this adamant about our poor guild skills, then why are you still part of our guild. It is obvious to me (and many others reading your post), that you are a disenfranchised guild member. And too the point, either help us better the guild, or /gquit. We work to improve this group, and there is about half of us that have been together for a LONG time, but the other half, we are trying our damnest to bring into the fold.

If our jokes offend, I am sorry, but we are an adult guild. Since you are not protesting in the appropriate places (like the GUILD forums), then I can only assume that you are not adult enough to understand. If this is insulting and condesending, it is only to provide an appropriate response to your very immature method of handling a personal (or personnel) problem.

Lastly, to all thinking of apping to the guild, please be aware that we DO have active forums and vent. This individual does not seem to use these resources, but those who are having fun and enjoying the guild. We are an adult guild with quite a few older people who are parents (and even at least one grandparent). Heck, I just found out that we have entire family (Father and 2 sons) that are part of our imperfect guild. We try to help others, but real life does come first (our first rule). Daust: i dropped you losers before wrath even hit the shelves, no way i'd be one of the poor saps having to carry you through instances and raids

not everyone in the guild are corrupt little tools like you edward and i still talk to them frequently. but it does get more than irritating when i have to be the shoulder to qq on everytime you officers fumble your responsibilities

how about the time antiope on his pally, a full raider of your guild, got sat on the benches over a raider initiate on the first raid night

or how about the time you dramad one of your healers reo out of the guild and hurt your 10man group that wasnt part of the clique

or how about the time when humzinger wanted to raid but couldnt get a spot in over the clique. yeah hes annoying in trade occasionally but hes a fantastic dps and raider


or i could bring up examples from BC that i know best when one of your scum officers would take hearts of darkness or epic gems and put them up on the ah, which was said to be against the rules for us members in the raid to do

is this a pretty accurate description of your guild?

All the issues you have discussed were mistakes and have since been taken care of, we have had no issues with anything else.

We never drama'd Reo out of leaving, we didn't want him to go. He chose to leave and we're happy for him where he is. And we have never made Hum sit, he chose to sit out of a OS 10 one night, that's about it. Also he is a great person, his trade trolling should not reflect upon him, he is a great raider and great guy.

If you have some real issues, please post on your main, don't be scared, no need to be anyhow, now that we know who you are, it's ok.

I'll assure you that we don't have any "clique" going on. It's called having a Core of people in the guild, every guild has that. A lot of us have been together for a long time, we're doing everything we can to include any of the newer people and expand our Core, sorry that you feel so strongly against that.

when was that infraction ever cleared up? o right it wasn't, they just promoted you to officer because they need an extra hand in wrecking their own guild

you dont like nap because she never stacked the raids how you liked in bc, and nap and many others dont like you for stealing stuff from the guild for your own gain and being a liar all the time

then theres also the chatter among the officers about how your account got hacked yet its been locked for months now, much longer than any account should be if you were trying to bring it back but you were actually just not wanting to raid on your drood anymore so you faked about it being hacked so you could circumvent the rules and start a dk when youd signed up to tank on a drood

you're sneaky and hamhandedness dont go together well and your just another example of why i wouldnt be caught dead in midnight

Women vote, drives cars, and are usually the head of the household nowadays. I know my mother is. Napaeae is a leader, and she leads us where we prevail. I believe if anybody should be in the kitchen, it should be me. I'm a wonderful chef. <3

He was approached on several occasion for being an elitist with comments like oh that is so easy I cannot believe you are having a hard time with this or that, he would link HIS accomplishments to make others feels inferior when they accomplished anything they were proud of, the officers had enough and approached him and called him out, he did not appreciate being singled out as he felt others were doing what he was doing but this is an entirely false statement no one outwardly said NO to a guildie that asked for Help even on a simple quest and NO ONE else belittled anything someone else showed pride in … and since we are on the honesty trip here Reosoul was about to be kicked out by ME for his inability to play within the guild so it is better off he left on his accord (pretty letter the in guild forums and all) 

I haven't read through all the posts in this thread, but after seeing my name being brought up a few times and feeling that my reputation is being damaged more, I have to reply. Most of this thread is probably flame anyways.

People always like to bring up how I helped NOBODY but myself. Did any of YOU ever speak to Orrock, Ryfle, Uniq, Furcas? I didn't see a pretty poll go up. Hell, Furcas was an officer and more than a few times I gave him JC necklaces to help him get tanking gem-cut patterns to help out, this is, TANKING GEMS before HEALING gems. I could have told him to get healing first, but let's back up. I already have a jewelcrafting toon sitting at 71, he's JC is maxed and he's doing the JC quest daily for tokens. Damn, I sure could have given the necklaces to my alt for more tokens. It's rewarding to know that for my kind efforts, after leaving the guild, Furcas hadn't said a word to me. So remind me how I'm so much more selfish than everyone else.

And as for a clique, when we ran heroics we picked our DPS so long as they met these standards: Were level 80, Befitted group composition.

Even then we were pugging in DPS because sometimes people just weren't on. And when I meant group composition I don't mean "Omg he'll takez my stuff, get some other armor class", It meant, not running with 3 melee DPS in effing Heroic Occulus.

Now, if you want to wonder why there were 2 seperate groups for running heroics, you can talk to Lumi. I don't know at what point we became mortal enemies, but his comments put me in a defensive position for the rest of my stay in the guild. The groups didn't really interchange much because Lumi kept his stranglehold around the excuse he couldn't run instances until Kynsie could. Kynsie was usually busy with IRL, Lumi was not. He has no excuse.

So when I see someone not running instances unless it's with their preferred healer, I wonder how I'm any different for being a healer who likes to run with a preferred tank. I didn't call everyone else incompetent either, Krice. I remember my exact words because after the spout of BS from even you, the most level-headed officer in the guild, I was doubting my future in AM. " I've ran with two tanks, Razor and Xedge and so far they're the only two tanks I've ran with at 80 who don't suck" What does this mean? I've ran with Xedge, Razor, and Pugged in tanks. You weren't even 80 and you still found a way to get offended. We were talking about who would tank a heroic VH for us, and when I said the tank needed to be 80, your response was this, unedited. "THEY DONT HAVE TO BE ^$#ING 80!" Yes, Krice, a tank does have to be 80 to run a heroic.

And I didn't like it that I was helping people because I wanted, but out of fear of getting kicked from the guild for not helping. It was all fun and games until angsty Lumi felt he had to prove his manliness to the whole guild and took everything seriously. I ran Orrock, Ryfle and the others in the guild who I still had respect for through instances, yes a 80 priest healing regular UK. By this point I was asking myself questions that I do when determining to leave a guild: Do I have friends here, Am I having fun playing this game with these people, am I respected?

Yes, sometimes, and a resounding no.

I have friends in AM and still do, but the rest I didn't know or didn't like. Why wouldn't I like them? Because either they were the people who insulted me or the ones who did not question those insulting me. Whenever I looked at how I helped people and how Razor helped people, I didn't see any difference.

And by the way, the reason Razorblades hasn't had to roll on much gear in Naxx is because he's an outstanding tank and we got so many badges running heroics, it helped us get our foot in the door with Naxx. Don't tell me I'm a bad player/person when I do the exact same and basically trying to solo-heal Maexxna because the priest with me didn't even bother to pick up meditation. Ty for that great help, Nap.

And on the topic of achievements, I don't believe I ever linked achievements in guild chat unless discussion was on it otherwise the game did it for me for a nice little spam feature. I think the worst I ever actually said in Gchat was "been there done that" when I was joking at Kynsie then emo-lumi flew off the handle again.

And I wasn't ever 'approached' by an officer, the closest it ever came to that was me getting insulted in Gchat and me demanding information from the GM.

I like the last tidbit from Lumi on the fourth screenshot where he mentioned that I started all this and he's just paying out some vengeance. The last time I believe I actually took a shot AT HIM was when I made those goofy I-hate-paladin jokes.

Now, with all this said, I tried not to burn bridges with you guys but now that you immaturely started putting this crap up for the public to see, I felt it only right for me to defend myself against your insults. I don't know why you felt fit to do this, but this is where it ends. Take your drama and keep it to yourself, I left your guild for that reason. Keep. It. To. Yourself.

I didn't start anything. Your guild brought me up in your recruitment thread and insulted me. I'm replying in kind. Do not bring my name up again in anything else, I'm not interested in the drama.

Reosoul < Bastion >:I applied to WoM after I left After Midnight for personal reasons. I was denied, of course, but I'm not sad about it. <3 So, only one guild. 
Reosoul < Bastion >:I request that this topic be purged, and Napaeae start a new one with the intention of recruiting for the Guild. This isn't supposed to be an arena where we kick dirt in each other's faces. A lot of you are getting trolled by some nobody who left the guild. Like he even matters. What's done is done, and if Reosoul can't find it in his heart to forgive us, then so be it.

However, I am truly sorry for my assumptions, Reosoul.

I want this topic to be destroyed. No more of this cry baby emo drama that makes our guild out to be the bad guy.
