I wasn't planning on it as I didn't think I was drafted for Naxx tonight but I am (although I still might not go seeing as Pub is and two unholy dks = disaster) and we were due to have company round tonight but now we're not so...erm...yeah. I'll be on in an hour or so.

Swinging party cancelled?

I like Instances. The Scarlet Monestry ones are really good.

Also I've only been using drops to kit myself out, not checking out shops/AH - that's not insane right?

Also 2 - really tempted to try a mage too

Also 3 Is this horrid? I don't want a full breakdown on how to better it. Just some brief comments :blink:

Anyhoo, to answer your questions:

1 - Ravenholdt AH is stupid at low levels - 50g for a piece of kit only worth 2-3g at the most. I tended to avoid it and kit myself up through instances and quests.

2 - Mage is meant to be fun. i've always wanted to try one but I don't get on with casters.

3 - No idea.

4 - Your mom is a slut :blink:

Tanks are in major high demand, so if you can tank well with a DK, you'd probably enjoy it a lot. Healers are also in demand, just not as much as tanks.

The missus has a DK, and hasnt played a melee class before. Specced unholy and thought it was the best thing ever since it was like her Lock but she could melee as well. Also her pet wasnt a mong and attacked from the front like her Lock pets tend to do, which annoys her :lol:

Friendly reminder: Back up your WoW directory somewhere! For the love of all that is holy!

I've got mine backed up in 3 places, after christmas it'll be 4 :lol:

Anyway, I've been playing a DeathKnight with my brother (Emorchids / Orchid) and it's been awesome. We've only been playing together since Thursday and already we're both around 76/77. It's been a total blast and I'm loving the new class and the new style of play.

So far I'm full blood and specing a little into Unholy, but my question is this; am I better off sticking with blood, or is there more damage to be had in Unholy? Seeing as he's a Paladin we're tending to round up a bunch of mobs and kill them off and I'm guessing that Unholy would be better for that kind of thing. But at the same time I love the big crits from Blood and being able to tank pretty reliably just by switching to Frost stance which is great for the group quests all of which we've two-manned so far.

Once we hit 80 I'd say the plan is to do as many heroics as possible to build up badges and gear, so really I'd like an opinion (if possible) on which, Blood or Unholy, would be better when that time comes. Comments appreciated!

Unholy does have the better AoE damage as well as totally viable for tanking. It might be worth a try to see if you like Unholy, I leveled all the way from 55 as Unholy and I love it, equally I'm blood at the moment and that not bad either.

The good thing about DK is with a change of gear and stance you can pretty much do anything you want, especially when it comes to 5mans and Heroics.

Something is wrong with Rogues atm, the DPS is about 10 - 15% lower than it should be. Doing Naxx with Muk I thought it was me, and I think I am kinda lower than I should be, but pvewise it seems we suck a bit at the moment.

*HP is the Spacesquid buff, forget the name

755 is utterly BANANAS. How much do I need for heroics? I didnt go in to heroics last time until I had 280 hit.

I'm at 310 hit, which is a bit more than I should be at (280ish is the hitcap for specials).

It's madness to try and aim for white hitcap.

Also, I need to try and find a bit of expertise from somewhere, I pretty much never miss now, but I'm still getting dodges / parries, even when standing behind the mob sometimes.
