Last night was obscenely awesome - Cowfields and I got the Undying at the second attempt and, even better, Cow jumped to his death in the Nexus afterwards while trying to take a shortcut after the arcane elemental boss. Watching him (and someone else following him) leap off like a ninja only to fall short and plummet like a furry condom stuffed with bricks into the gaping abyss below was the Best Thing Ever.

I finished the Hillsbrad Quest Chains  (Actually got 1 left - but it's Red and got a nasty boss )

I'm only level 26/27- any suggestions on which zone to try (similar to Hillsbrad please! Quests all in one zone, flight path to main city etc etc) next  I was thinking of Ashenvale?

I'd try either Ashenvale, Stonetalon Mountains (quests given at Sunrock Retreat) or quests in the Southern Barrens. You don't want to go to Duskwood as it's an alliance questing place. Once you're 28-29 head down into the Thousand Needles and get the quests from the Tauren outpost there.

Actual LOL.

Check out this Death Knight's weapon. Isn't that crazy hard to get hold of?

I imagine he had all the mats already saved and has been hitting MC every reset to get it. I know there were blood elf paladins with this soon after TBC came out too.

EDIT: Actually he didn't even need to do that. If someone else had the bindings before the expansion but saved them until after the expansion, the quest item that drops when you kill Thunderaan is lootable by anyone (which is silly).

:P What?!?

Ok! Who on Moonglade has the bindings?!?! :(

right click and drag to turn your character.

Yeah, this is a great tip here; you should be doing this all the time, forget about using the keyboard to turn. I've lost count of the number of times I've yelled 'Get out of the fire/ice/ungodly fart clouds' at bonehead DPS who then proceed to move with the turning circle of a fucking tractor and end up dying.

I bet he does that in real life too. 'Big Issue?' *stop, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle* 'No thanks' *shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle*

Nope, plus you'll breeze through 1 - 70 *very* fast because of the Exp boost implemented by Blizz few patches ago. Rested is useful for 70 - 80 when you can/do not play that often. Take me for example, I get 3 hours per day and I log off in a city, which means every time I log on and level I am rested. All the bloody time :(

Yeah I'll have the rest of 78-80 as rested when I get back after Xmas I reckon. Pretty nifty.

In other news, yesterday was a great WoW day. I hadn't realised I could go buy a couple of nifty plate chests, one DPS one tank from the Walrus dudes already, which funnily enough were a big upgrade on my green shit. I then hit 78 so I could equip 3 new tanking items, a cloak, gloves and legs which I stuck a spare guild Jormungar armour patch on. I also bought Epic flying and a wind rider which is awesome. WHOOSH!. Then I tanked a pug through Gundrak in like a few minutes. Hells yeah.

One of our tanks makes me miss Genya, almost. You know how arrogant he was, he at least had the knowledge to back it up?

Vague Draenor News Item:

I was standing next to Genyarikado - Level 70 Warrior - at the UC Mailbox earlier today...

By the time I'd 'whoed' him he'd logged but a Genyaashram - Level 80 DK - had appeared - coincidence? You decide...
