People keep telling me I shouldn't sell my Golden Pearl because I'll need it (and another) for some of those robes that look like a tablecloth :rolleyes:

I had to buy 3 golden pearls in the end. I farmed those bloody Naga in Azshara for a few days straight, and never got a single one. Somebody in my guild gave me one in the end, and I bought the rest.

I've got fucking tonnes of Zesty Clam Meat though!

Mankey - what's this about the SoWS getting a damage boost? Tell me more, tell me more, etc

Khaz - you're pretty close but that's actually the easy part of it. It's what happens after that which is the headache...

I'm looking at a bit of Naga farming too, I need the pearls for a delightful spellpower enchant. I've mostly ignored enchants till now but that's all gonna change.

Oh, I'll never quit it properly but taking long breaks from it keeps it fresh. Whenever I get to the stage where I log in and think 'Meh', I put the whole thing aside for a few weeks. Works wonders.

I'm exactly the same... Although tbh, I can't face playing my shaman again so I'm just gonna focus on a new char on a new server. There's nothing like a fresh start.

Yeah, I have a girlfriend now too, and she doesn't really like games.

See, I told you Warriors were dull.

HOWEVER- we really need more in The Tide and I'm just getting to 48 now, so you get to play with me and Targrend and Sylvasca and Jaizha! Yay!

Gah. I spose I have solo'd from 40-48, which is why it was slightly more boring, but even then my priorities go like this Mankath>Girlfriend>Wakka>Uni.

A fun filled day yesterday. Zerged Lord Kazzak, finally managed to sneak in one of those patented crazy 'lock crits before CoS gets nerfed (3630 in a Lava Annihilator's stupid face), got the 6th piece of my Felheart set (the rock & roll sounding slippers, though I think I'll stick with Maleki's and the Dragonriders' most of the time) and, finally, my precious...

Grats on getting the Blade. It's what I want next from MC and hopefully I'll have the points to get when it drops. We've only seen 1 so far as we keep getting %$^&*ing Blastershot Launchers, 4 and counting now. Most of our hunters are NE and won't use guns for RP reasons so they have started going to tanks. I lost on a Robe of Volatile Power to a Shadow priest as well.

I want my Mageblade :D

My fingers are crossed for you, it was the first one we've had drop and it is lovely - tonight with that, a Robe of the Void, a couple of other modest +damage pieces and a sacrificed succubus, I shoved a 3930 shadow bolt in a molten destroyer's mouth (hurrah for the MT, he didn't even glance in my direction!) and generally did some amazing damage all over the place until leaving Garr's area and having to go all banishzzzzzzzz from there. Nevermind.

Hopefully I can get the +30 spellpower enchant on it before the patch arrives to nerf CoS...

Apparently people have complained that it doesn't have the stats of an epic weapon, and should be a bluey, so Blizzard are boosting the stats to make it epic-worthy in the next patch, along with the damage on the nemesis set, which has resulted in joyous celebration of Warlocks everywhere.

It's insane isn't it, I have a Rogue on there because I wanted to check out a few things (Mainly PVP) with full set of epixxx. Only been on once though the 2hr wait put me off bothering again.

Since the Test Server reappeared late Sunday, I've never had to wait to login.

I only tend to play after midnight - but before Sunday even then it was a 60+ min wait - so either people are bored or they've upped the population...

Sneaking around high-end instances as a steath-maxed-to-the-hilt rogue is a hoot tho - I attacked a 48 Elite and was mildly disappointed at how slowly it died - until I remember I had rez sickness :unsure:

Aye it's a good casters patch in general.

Add up everything Mages are getting and this patch will result in a huge increase in Mage's DPS in MC. CoE and rank11 frostbolt will give Frost mages an average of 100 damage a bolt alone i think. Both arcanist and NW have been buffed as well. :unsure:

I still have to see how much of a nerf the CoS is going to get before I'm happy, I can stand losing the occasional 3500+ mega crit, but losing the normal 2500+ PvE crits I get regularly would annoy the hell out of me. Still, SB rank 10 might fix that, and it does look pretty sweet.
