HMV and Virgin had them in basic packs for £214.99, not sure about the student discount availibility though, guessing it's not allowed on consoles.

GAME will only do the packs with World Tour Soccer and other titles (pre-bundled). Seems this is exactly why there's been sod all on the shelves as of late in most areas.

A nice pack for £214.99 (Yesasia.com have one for £185 for bargain hunters).

I read that they ship with 2.0 firmware, for which there's a functional eBoot loader already, so they should be fine. Don't hold me to that though.

Also... sorry to derail the thread but is it possible to play GTA:LCS and emulators at the same time?

I hear GTA:LCS only works with version 2 and you need 1.5 for everything else I believe.

You can get an eBoot (homebrew) loader for v2.0 now, and it works with plenty of stuff.

Indeed, or even those that don't - so it encourages them to use music and pictures on it - increasing their reluctance to sell because they're getting more use out of it. More of a lifestyle product now. Whatever that is.

It's a naff bundle. I don't think the massmarket cares about a bunch of extra hardware. They'd be much better off reducing it to a reasonable price and bundling it with Ridge Racer IMO.
