For 400 MS points, at the usual super-early o'clock (Feb. 7 at 1 a.m. PST), gamers can download Root Beer Tapper from the Xbox Live Arcade Marketplace. Like other arcade classics, Tapper has received a visual update so that the game will display in HD and this version supports online multiplayer, leaderboards, and achievements.

IT'S NOT WORMS/CATAN/CASTLEVANIA, IS IT?

If nothing else, it gave me a right good laugh when I read that.

.::: I'd laugh if it wasn't the goddamned truth about Arcade.

[edit] And why the hell is Microsoft pissing away their lead like this!? Do they want Nintendo to catch up?

What are they playing at... :D

Compiling MAME on the 360, adding the stock 5 lines of achievement code and making hundreds of thousands of dollars from the thing. Where's Total Carnage Midway? Or Mortal Kombat 2 (the fan favourite). Or NARC. Or Hydro Thunder.

I don't know if you're trying to achieve something with that post, but I want you to stop! :D

Video of 360 debug network showing some stuff thats in the testing stage.

There's one cool thing about being on the debug network - all the sneaky peeks at things currently under development. I echo the comment made by someone about Midway putting Dreamcast Hydro Thunder onto the Marketplace - I'm guessing it's only a matter of time seeming that we're soon to be getting Ikaruga.

Wish there was a list of all current, impending and rumoured (ie games seen on PartnerNet) XBLA games :D

Regarding Jetpac - bring it on, it was the 1st Speccy game I bought when I got the system along with Atic Atac. I think I read they are making a update of sorts with the original in there too. Interesting.

Just please MS, release these games a little more often :(
