New series starts on 15th November at 8pm on BBC TWO.

The Dragons' Den is a series where entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to secure investment finance from the Dragons... elite business experts. Watch their top tips. The series isn't available commerically.

Yeah, just a wee reminder (for myself really) that the new series starts tonight. I thought the first series was class. Will be tuning in...

I was really enthralled by the programme tonight. Well edited though to leave the best idea until last. It was really quite fun watching the dragons battle it out with each other with the wifi on boats idea.

We actually had to watch a programme from last series in one of our lectures to show how not to do a presentation and how to do one. We've got some pretty major presentations next week..

Definitely recommend watching.

Pah, I actually remembered this was on (rare for me), but one of my housemates had already bagged the TV for Holby City. Anywhere I can torrent it from?

Better get used to that happening mate.

Oh and it should be on UKNova pretty soon. (you got an account?)

It's the 'Dragons' reactions that I love. It's like watching the Pop Idol auditions but with more depth to it. I can't quite remember his name, but the American guy that's been in two series already is really ruthless and just imagining him smile or laugh even is just alien. It is a brilliant show though. I always wanted to see in the last series the dragons fighting over one deal, and in this episode they did. And because the viewers know Rachel Elnor is wrecked, whenever someone considers to go into business with here, it creates so much drama and suspense. Don't go into business with her! I said to the t.v.

I stayed in to watch this in the end, and I wasn't disappointed. This is crack in TV form for me. That it ended on the feelgood factor of not only someone getting a deal, but succesfully negotiating with the tight fuckers, was the cherry on the cake for me.

Once again, the sheer egotistical madness of some of the people who are basically there to ask for money, beggars belief. That first woman was unbelievable, slagging off an entire nation, and refusing to gve straight answers.

I thought the rack-a-stack man was great though, so polite and open to ideas, although I'm not sure his decision was wise. I think he would have still made a packet, even giving away 40% equity.

What do you lot think of the new guy?

i loved the show, but spotted something last night that annoyed me - whenever the 'presenter' guy is on camera, he walks from one end of the room to the other, and then changes direction to start walking towards the camera, then stops and finishes off. its like they've drawn a line on the floor for him. watch out for it next week.

What got me was that he didn't even try and haggle. He could easily have got him down to 35% I reckon, and probably even lower. Just having that guys contacts would get you a hell of a long way.

Superknees, though- comedy gold. I'd buy a pair.

Poo I missed it, what businesses were on and how many got in?

There was a stroppy bitch who wanted to sell olives in pubs (nice idea, shame about the person), then a guy who wanted to sell plastic rack thingies to stop beer bottles collapsing in the fridge when you stack them (He had an offer, but turned it down due to giving away too much equity). Then there was the blubbing pants woman. I actuall missed her pitch cos I was on the phone.

They also showed snippets of some other pitches, one being roller skates for your knees (presumably for Shenmue style pre-work races for floor layers), and another being a little bag that collects the dust from a drill bit.

Finally there was the guy who wanted to expand his "wi-fi on yachts" business. They were gagging for that, he had two of them offer him £75k each, but they wouldn't negotiate on the 40% equity, then Elnaugh offered him the full £150k for 38%, and the American guy did as well for 45% (which I thought was pointless).

He went with the two guys in the end, but managed to at least knock them down a couple of percent. I thought this was really great, I mean - who wants to work with someone who refuses to negotiate?

Notice the colours - rhed, hwite and beloo. Made in Yorkshire, from t' inside of t' badgers' anus tis.

RARARA gay gay gay.

Not as good as last week, and that bedlam thing really didn't seem that original to me. But it was a good show.

Bedlam was like one of those intricately made, and shaped, wooden chinese puzzles except plastic, not intricate and you have to work out how to put it back into it's crappy box. Maybe it's just me.

Mind you, it was cheap enough to make, supply and sell.

Better than Rubik's cube though, erm, no.

I don't think it is repeated, however Nova's of the UK or New kind may have it.

She-Wee. :( What a great name, but a thoroughly useless product. The Bedlam puzzle looks like fun, I plan on buying one, its only £13 on his website, but the guy behind it has made more money from selling the solution then the actual puzzles.
