I'm not completely convinced by the lag improvement. Whilst it's a definite improvement, I can still notice it and I think we'll see in the league that the hosting team(for their half) will perform better.

It's vastly improved and it varies from opponent to opponent. I have yet to play in a single game that is anywhere near as bad as PES4 for lag.

Actually, I must admit I'm invariably shit whenever a new PES game comes out...Of course there are usually fairly big differences, but that doesn't explain the size of the drop in quality of my play. I'm generally getting taken apart in every match I play - including those in which I somehow manage to avoid defeat.

Just got my copy (£29 in Morissons). No doubt I'll have the usual problems with scoring but that's not going to put me off. I'll be on most the night I should think if any one fancies putting a few past me.

What I really want to know tho' is how I get into the league - it's the reason I bought this. Any help appreciated.

i seem to be having problems with this.

i cant connect to games when others host and when i host the away bit seem to have really bad lag.

anyone else finding this.

Strange.

I've been alright connection-wise, me and pompy even played 3 matches. He complained of lag though and my connection is mint 99% of the time so who knows what is going on.

Sorry you couldn't hear me Sith, that's why I kept quitting out after the match + logging out. Good close games though. I could hear you, + every *wtf* moment, very amusing. :(

Barcarole, that first 2-2 game we had was amazing, how many times did we hit the woodwork? :D Didn't so much enjoy the next game when you changed your tactics to exploit mine + my keeper had a mare. :(

:P exactly the same thing happened i could hear him but he couldn't hear me!

But i beat him 5-1 with his beloved Man u so mwhaha :lol:

Cheers for the games tonight SaintM, it all looked so promising at the start for me with a slim loss, a draw and I think I won (typical memory like a sieve there <_< ). It all went downhill for me from there though. :P Well played to you.

Oh and your connection was excellent, barely noticable - if at all any - lag. :D
