Chewylegs
Having missed out on Public Enemy back in the late 80s early 90s and only getting into hiphop over the past 5 years I've never got round to picking up 'A Nation of Millions...', 'Fear Of a Black Planet' and the other no doubt superb Public Enemy albums. So I thought why not save myself some cash and trouble and pick up this little beauty above. This is seriously the best 'Greatest Hits' album I have ever come across. 18 tracks of pure genius from one of the most influential hiphop groups ever. Whether you're talking 'Fight The Power, 'Rebel Without A Pause' or 'You're Gonna Get Yours' this album is chocful of sure FIRE classics. Everyone needs to own this if like myself they have missed out in earlier years. I was gonna stick this topic on another forum but I thought it would have more impact and influence over here. Superb. Sardan
I think its okay but, there are some weaker tracks on there too. It takes a Nation... was simply a great album. some of the later stuff (Night of the living Bassheads, anyone?) less so.

Ben
By the look of that track listing, you definately need this: B) ← YEEEEAAAAH BOY If you get the chance buy Yo Bum Rush The Show, Fear of a Black Planet and Nation of Millions too. Some of the finest hiphop albums ever made. You've got most of the classics on the compilation but some of my favourites are hidden away in the albums. I'd love to be able to hear Public Enemy again for the first time

ZOK
Let's face it, at 18 tracks a pop PE could probably put three 'Best Of's out, and they'd all be worth having...
Dimahoo
The new LP is a return to form somewhat.
