Hitcher
It really reminds me of Jet Set radio Future for some reason. And not just the cel shading either. At last someone else agrees. My friend is playing this on a silver account, didnt think you could do that..? You get 1 month Gold when you create a new Silver account.
Weinberg
So my friend joined and killed 2 of my bosses whilst I was hopping around getting agility orbs. I wanted to kill them-so how come the game works like this? Surely your co-op partner can't go round completing the game for you?

It wouldn't be a very good co-op if your partner couldn't kill people would it. You can always try again in time trial mode though.

Yep, they're in your city so you have to lay down the rules about what your guest can do - I've always asked that my guests refrain from killing any of my remaining bosses, and I never assume I can kill any of theirs. You can always tackle the bosses in time trial mode, though I appreciate that isn't quite the same.
Takizawa
I still cant quite see how the co-op works, I helped a friend do loads of the bosses on his game and they didn't save on mine, but when he helped me do mine, they were saved on his... Takizawa
Would it make a difference if one of you chose "Single player" or "Co-op" on the start up options? Possibly, my friend was saying he couldn't get the 'invite to game' bit to work... To be honest, I really don't mind, its so much fun I don't mind doing everything again! Just finished all the bosses anyhow, and have about 50 green orbs left to collect, its gonna be a mission. Oooh and just got both the 'juggler' achievements

Some of the Shai-Gen carry grenade launchers. I got my body juggler achievement pretty early on with one of these beauties.

Yeah there is a rocket launcher which makes the body/car juggling quite easy! I juggled Wang off the top of the Shai-Gen Tower, he went some distance! Is there 2 different gernade launchers because I have one at the minute but the one I see used in the achievment videos seems to be a heat seeking gernade launcher. Theres the grenade launcher, a normal straight firing rocket launcher and a heat seeking one too.
Crhis
That's a rocket launcher. 2 Rockets, 1 Grenade. I don't know the names but I can tell you the ammo Grenade is 4/12 Rocket is 1/10 Best rocket is 5/

therev
I've had 498 agility orbs for hours now. I have no idea where the last two could be. It's killing me.
pretentious_helvetica
There's a great way to get the Airborne Assassin achievement quite easily - Go to the Shai-Gen area and haul yourself up to a supply point which needs to have a rocket launcher-type weapon in there. Grab it, go out of the supply point and see if you can find a group of five or more enemies on a rooftop. Jump up, fire rocket at them. Nice! Also discovered that the racing is best done at night - trying to race in the daytime is insane, and the best voiceover actor ever needs to tell me that besides the fact "he can see his house from here". Finished the game too - the boss stuff. The ending is.... bitter sweet? Still brilliant though.
Dukesy
Just climbed the tower with 3 stars Agility. Fuck me it's a bit tense. Palms were sweating when I got near the top. The jump off into the water is amazing. Love this game.

vashsan
There is a ramp off some crates in the shipyard which doesn't lead anywhere. Must be for a long jump. Spent about an hour just picking off tires on the fly-over today. Watching the mayhem unfold is mesmerizing. That jump takes you to a stunt marker above the ship. I'm having great trouble reaching it since I only have 2 stars in driving.
therev
I spent all night last night dreaming about my search for the final two agility orbs I'm missing. I think this game is going to break my mind.
Massive Invisible Dog
Why do the stunt markers sometimes disappear, even if you're in a vehicle? Do you have to be in a certain one for them to appear?

That marker's a nightmare! Even getting up to the final ramp in the SUV is a crazy challenge, it bounces all over the place and overshoots many a mark. Maybe the supercar is the answer, I don't know. As per usual in Crackdown, I thought of something else to do and got on with that.
Talvalin
I saw a car-carrier earlier today and wondered how much air I could get from it in the Agency SUV.
Paulando
I haven't been interested in this at all to be honest up to now. I didn't like the look of it from the few screenshots I saw and the cover art put me off too (because it didn't look like a game I'd enjoy). Received it today though, and my first impressions are very good! It reminds me of Saints Row, the controls especially, except it's in the future and you're a cop. The graphics look nice, I didn't have a clue it was kind of cel-shaded, it looks very stylish and looks great in HD. The framerate also seems very solid in the short time I've played it. I captured a few of the recharge point things and drove around the city a bit. It seems very fun, I'm impressed How does the Halo 3 invite work though? From my understanding you just received a card that said something along the lines of: "HALO 3 BETA COMING SOON LOL!!1". Is there a link to it in the options screen or something, for when the Beta is released?
Talvalin
Maybe the supercar is the answer, I don't know. In my experience the supercar is well shit at taking off from the car-carrier/ramp truck, though this could be entirely down to lack of skill. I have noticed that when using the SUV at 4*, I tend to either overshoot stunt markers or miss it by miles (as in nowhere near high enough). As for the Halo 3 beta, if you didn't get a card in the case then you haven't got an invite. At a later point, the beta will become active, at which point you can download it from the Crackdown Downloads menu option. However, you can only access the beta from the same menu ie you have to keep your copy of Crackdown in order to be able to play the demo.

Yeah, I don't favour the supercar in the air, but there's very little chance of getting the truck up there... I only tried a jeep from the regular car pool, so perhaps a cop car or roadster would have a chance. It's probably the SUV or nothing, though. The jump coming out of the Shai Gen tunnel is a bugger, too - the tunnel's too twisty-turny to maintain speed, and I usually end up killing a dozen bystanders without getting anywhere near the marker... Nah, you need to stick with the SUV- it's the only way to get the height you need for a lot of the really crazy jumps. And as for getting up their, I find carrying it up makes things much easier. Thats the funny thing about this game, you get see some ramps and think- 'I'll need to drive up that', as it's exactly what you'd need to do in most other games of this type. I only remembered that I could pick cars up when I'd been trying that particular jump for a good half hour or so Still, I regret nothing, its always great fun.
