Mr Do 71
Am I right in thinking you can't install this to the HDD? I'm tempted to pick it up cheap for a fuckabout and to get myself out of the 499 orbs club, but I can't go back to that noise. You are correct in your thinking. FishyFish
Arse! Turns out I had three agility orbs left to find, as evidenced by one of the motherfuckers still being missing after I found another two. Fucks sake! The other two I found were quite close to the ground, atop shop-front signs in Los Muertos, which meant they weren't easy to spot from the rooftops. I'm guessing the last one might be similarly hidden in plain sight. I wish there were some way to turn the ambient sound off in the game - I keep hearing tantalising orb sounds* which turn out to be background noise. * Not Little Fluffy Clouds

So many times i'm walking around looking and i'm CERTAIN I can hear an orb, but it turns out to be nothing.
SeanR
so, I finally got my copy back. boot it up, says there's an update (probably because my box (and the HDD) has been changed) then it says there isn't, and disconnects me from live THEN it says there's a problem with the DLC... do I want to play without it? there's only one option. Then it crashes, even ejecting the disc doesn't reset the 'box. And this only happens with crackdown. Am I going to have to delete my savegame? Mr. Gerbik
I would try other stuff first before deleting that save game you worked so hard on. Maybe performing that switch-DRM-to-your-new-360-thingie first and then, once you've done that, try deleting and re-downloading the DLC?

Then it crashes, even ejecting the disc doesn't reset the 'box. And this only happens with crackdown. Am I going to have to delete my savegame? I got exactly the same thing just recently. You need to download the update otherwise the game just crashes every time you get to the menu screen. I tried pretty much everything else, and even deleting ALL the content and the gamesave (after I copied it to a memory card) didn't fix the issue; I started a completely new game and as soon as it tried to save the new profile it crashed. Seems like Crackdown has issues with the new 360 dash. But if you wait until you can download the update, then everything should work fine again. I've got my original save along with all the DLC and works fine... as long as I have that update. Anyway, now that I got it working again, I have two secret orbs left to find. The same two orbs have eluded me for the past year.

Sigourney Beaver
Started playing through this tonight, up to the fifth enemy in the first gang. When you get info on the next general, is that on a timer or when you go near their area?

Big Gus
No, definitely tackle the south island first. While the game is open there is a progression with the weapons. Do you have the rocket launcher(s) yet? Those are essential for the Shai Gen gang on the final island.

Sigourney Beaver
Go do the south island next is my tip. Explore, take your time. Some of the supply points in the Shai Gen island are way too high for me, so I do think I've gone there too soon. I've only been getting the green icons as and when I pass them. Do I need to set aside an hour to build myself up a bit?
