  1. STOP THREAD COMING TO PS4 AND XBONE It bloody well could be. This will be the next simulator from the guys who bought you netKar Pro and Ferrari Virtual Academy... Its also moddable.. Indeed netKar and FVA are considered very decent sims but theres little in the way of pictures or track details so its more about putting it out there. Heres the first movie... And it doesn't say much most other games don't do. But one thing that will froth the racing heads is their first car sign up and for that i can show you a movie.. Excited? Well i can tell you the game will feature graphical details such as Full defered rendering with shadows, HDR, bloom and even words like AO which i'm not sure what they even mean and word on the net is this is THE sim to watch. And its due in 2012, although may likely go down the same Beta route both Rfactor and pCARS as gone.
  2. GUIDE TO THE BEST WAY TO PURCHASE GAMEPASS BEFORE YOU START. If you have already used the £1 offer you can still do the below, however you will be charged £10.99 instead of £1 but this will still upgrade all your XBLG so it's still a great deal. If you are already subscribed to Game Pass, let it lapse before following these steps. They will work for new or lapsed accounts, but not for active ones. 1. Buy 3x 12-month Live Gold codes (£40 each) from CDKeys or equivalent. It might take an hour or so for the codes to come through, but they will eventually. 2. If you don't have one, create an Xbox account on the Microsoft site. 3. Redeem your Live Gold codes on the MS Site - click on your user icon at the top right of the page, click the "..." at the bottom of the drop down menu and select "Redeem code." IMPORTANT: each time you do this, UNSELECT the auto-renew option, otherwise you'll get some free months added which will make it impossible to redeem your third code (you can't stack more than three years' worth). 4. From here the instructions are from memory because I can't replicate the steps as I've already signed up. On your user icon drop down menu choose "My Microsoft account" and on the page that opens you should see a section called "Subscriptions." Click on your Live Gold subscription. 5. You should now be given the option to upgrade your Live Gold to Game Pass Ultimate. When you select this it will take you to a standard page as if you were buying it from scratch, where you pay £1 for the first month* and £10.99 every month thereafter. Don't be put off by this (as I was) - the £10.99 won't kick in until your three years are up. Go ahead and sign up for the £1 offer. (*if you have already used the £1 offer previously then it will cost you £10.99 for this conversion, but still only as a one-off payment with your next payment not due for another three years.) 6. Your Live Gold subscription should now have been converted to Game Pass Ultimate for the next three years, at a cost to you of £121 (£131 if this isn’t your first time), a saving of approx 70% compared to the £10.99 a month RRP. 7. Go back into your Game Pass subscriptions page and turn off auto-renew again. There's bound to be another offer in three years' time! —————————————————————————————————- Original Post (2017) In various console threads the topic of somebody doing a Netflix style service for games comes up. Looks like MS are going to be offering something like that. EA Access already does something similar, but it's pretty limited as it's just EA games (as the name suggests). http://news.xbox.com/wp-content/uploads/Xbox-Game-Pass_Hero-hero.jpg Confirmed publishers (from NeoGAF).
  3. It looks like this is essentially Halo 6. https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/news/our-journey-begins
  4. And in other Halo news Halo: The Master Chief Collection coming to Xbox One this year, collects Halos 1-4 Well, if you like Halo and have somehow missed out I guess this is good news.
  5. A Definitive Edition for Switch! Releasing Winter 2019 Details Orchestral soundtrack English and Japanese voices 16-bit version included (which looks like the 3DS version) Additional story content
  6. Most important bit currently: Switch version out on August 7, 2018! Should leave you with enough time to complete Hollow Knight. Free DLC added! First paid DLC batch added! Ooo, another free update! The second paid DLC includes Castlevaniaesque floaty sword!
  7. First trailer: By voice actor for three dog. Sadly Obsidian are extremely unlikely to be involved given their kickstarter project and the whole metacritic bonus fiasco but whoop anyway! FO3 was still great.
  8. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_0gZFfqK3w 7 Game modes 10 Maps 24 Players Free DLC Local Splitscreen Garden Ops is now Graveyard Ops with the roles reversed Unlocked character variants will carry across from PVZ1 Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 will feature a total of seven base plants and seven base zombies, each with their own unique abilities. Four will be returning from the first game, and three are brand new. Each character will have several variants that can be unlocked during gameplay with new weapons, models, and possibly new abilities and defense. The original Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare had a total of five character variants for each base character (more with DLC), but there's no information other than "Over 100 playable characters" for PvZ GW2 at this time. 9. Fresh from the exceedingly grim atmosphere portrayed in Vampyr, here's another interesting, though very dark, prospect.

  12. Coming Spring 2016 to Playstation 4, Xbone and PC. It's apparently going to be the final Dark Souls game and it just looks like it may well be set in Lordran.
  13. [Edit 16/12/14] Heists have been revealed! Info here: http://www.rllmukforum.com/index.php?/topic/274193-gta-online/?p=10175135 Thought we could do with a seperate thread for this now as it's bound to be very popular to say the least! Here's R*'s faq: http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/51422/some-more-details-on-grand-theft-auto-online.html Links to the official Rllmuk crews: 360 - http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/crew/rllmuk PS3 - http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/crew/rllmuk_ps3 Couple of basic gameplay mechanics that may not be immediately obvious (spoilered in case you want to find these out for yourself, no mission or story spoilers)
  14. Coming to PC, ps4, switch and xbone in August. <--- Demo available on steam From 1ccgames, the "Space Moth DX" lads. While that game was a rough diamond, obviously inspired by mushihimesama, but with some great fun mechanics and ideas of it's own, this is something else entirely. This is all diamond. The leap in progress they've made from that game to this is shocking! I'll include the "how to play" from the demo below as I'm not too great at explaining game mechanics without tangling myself up in words and confusing people, though I will give it a go and try and keep it concise and clear! Probably best just to read the slides and watch the run I've posted below. https://streamable.com/rzdpov Three difficulty modes. Easy, Normal and Bullet Hell. That run was on the highest difficulty. Four buttons, rapid shot, laser (focus), bullet time (hyper) and bomb. - Kill enemies and you'll automatically collect the blue things they drop - Blue things fill up your hyper gauge - Once that's at least half way full you can hyper - Now when you kill enemies, instead of getting blue things, you'll get gold cubes that are worth loads of points Try to make sure that your multiplier (the number in the bottom left corner) is at 8x before you hyper as the gold cubes are worth more the higher your multiplier. You build your multiplier when your bullets or laser hits enemies, and also by grazing bullets. Grazing bullets also replenishes bombs. If you're not familiar with the term "grazing", it's when you actively "hug" bullets instead of instinctively flying as far away as you can from them! The graze distance is pretty generous in this game. You can use bombs to turn the bullets around you into blue things that'll quickly fill your hyper gauge. So you'll see at the start of my run there, I kill a load of enemies to build my hyper gauge and multiplier, then I hyper, going into bullet time mode, grab all dem sweet sweet cubes, and once the hyper runs out, I use the bomb around a load of bullets to build my hyper up again before trying to build my multiplier back up. Those little astronaut lads replenish some of your hyper gauge while you're in hyper mode, as do the power pickups, so try and leave them until you're hypering to make your hyper last longer! For the boss, it seems like you have to be in hyper mode while you shoot all of it's armoured parts and then you'll get the extra phase at the end. Try to build your multiplier up high before killing him and you'll get showered with huge pale cubes. You can see I'm still working on that part as the cubes were tiny and shit. The game is amazing fun!
  15. This came out of nowhere and climbed straight to my top 5 most wanted games: I'm really loving the art style and the animation. Here's me hoping this will be as good as its presentation! It seems like the devs are fond of classic games. This easter egg should be familiar to most posters on here: Some more screenshots:
  16. Did a search for a topic on this but couldn't find one. Maybe not a surprise considering I've seen two videos so far, saying they'd not really heard of it before the last month. This is developed by Gunfire Games and mashes together a few genres. It's part souls, part Borderlands and a bit rogue-like. You can play online with up to three others or play solo, completely offline. It looks to have highly customisable characters, no micro transactions, with a promise of paid and free DLC. The gunplay looks pretty good though the locations seem quite sparse. There's the promise of 40+ weapons, excluding Melee. Over 100 enemy types and 20-30 bosses.
  17. The Sexy Brutale is out today! Xbox Store: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/store/p/the-sexy-brutale/c1pjx1j6rt8t PS Store: https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-gb/games/the-sexy-brutale/cid=EP2972-CUSA06819_00-THESEXYBRUTALE01?smcid=sen:entwined:EP9000-CUSA00672_00-ETWPS40000000000:playstation-store Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/552590/ ACG - "Easily A Buy" "There is so much here that is enjoyable to do, so much to explore. And while it doesn't have anything more than a second or third playthrough replayability, that's more than enough for the price that they're asking, at how many hours of enjoyment you're going to get through this. It's really a different style of puzzle game and it really surprised me ....It really was, just simply, a blast. I never expected to like it as much as I did..." Jimquisition - 10/10 Blast it all if it isn’t another impeccable entry in a year swarming with quality already. I fear this one will get lost in the shuffle of big budget games, but make no mistake – The Sexy Brutale deserves as much attention as any Horizon, Zelda, Nioh or Persona. Hardcore Gamer - 4.5/5 In the end, The Sexy Brutale is a marvelous and unique delight of a murder mystery, one you’ll have walked away from feeling shocked over what exactly you just saw play out in the story, satisfied over the challenging puzzles you’ll have solved to help out each masked guest, and dazzled over the vibrant and mesmerizing aesthetics. PSU - 8.5/10 Awash in a frankly ridiculous amount of charm and bolstered by a genuinely innovative time travel mechanic, The Sexy Brutale is one of the most deliciously refreshing puzzlers to come along in a good long while IGN - 8.2/10 Every murder The Sexy Brutale includes is uniquely fascinating to investigate, with the central loop of searching for clues and executing a plan to alter time continually engaging. I found Boone’s quest so fascinating, the Brutale’s secrets so alluring, and its world so charming that I rewound the clock just to spend a few more days in Lafcadio’s beautiful nightmare. Destructoid - 8/10 Though The Sexy Brutale fumbles a few times -- especially near the end when it rushes toward a narrative payoff -- it never hurts the experience. Uncovering the mansion's secrets and the twisted plot that dooms its guests is exciting. Compared to almost any other puzzle game, The Sexy Brutale's dark tone and inspired art stand out from the crowd. Solving murder might not be the most cheerful work, but it's one hell of a good time. Wccftech - 8/10 While I may have some minor gripes with The Sexy Brutale, I think it’s a wonderful puzzle game, one that’ll really reward your time. The mansion is smartly designed, harking to the intelligently planned Spencer Mansion of Resident Evil, and the way you learn about characters is inspired by one of the most unique aspects of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. The Sexy Brutale has bombastic music, a great cast, and some very satisfying puzzles. While not outstanding, it’s well worth your time. Metro - 8/10 An inspired mix of graphic adventure and Majora’s Mask style time travel, that offers some of the year’s most inspired puzzle-solving VideoGamer - 8/10 The secret stories Father Lafcadio uncovers are lovely, but you won't always enjoy the process of uncovering them. Still, a series of elegant murders, with elegant stories, in an elegant mansion is enough to show anyone a good time. Time and time again...
  18. First YAY Xbox. Second oh thank fuck it looks live they;ve dropped the "real world" military vibe of it and gone more to the classsic era.
  19. Colour me excited for this. We know that Remedy tends to keep elements from earlier games around in later ones and this gives off a very Quantum Break vibe to me:
  20. Long before the we wanted to go into battle on an island, the world was in big big trouble and only a few brave heroes could SAVE THE WORLD! Or something like that anyway. Fortnite was originally a PvE game and despite Battle Royale being the darling of the industry right now, this is still the meat of Epic's game... But what is it? Well I am too lazy to write stuff so this is from Wikipedia: Whilst the game does have micro-transactions and despite needing to pay to get access right now, the balancing seems pretty decent on the whole, with you being able to progress through the game just by playing and getting end of mission rewards. What's best though, the game is very generous with V-Bucks, meaning you can easily earn enough to buy a full season of Battle Royale within a few days. A few on the forum are really into it... you should be to. Media Our very own @robdood is the go to forum expert in this mode right now and you should check out his videos too. Check out his channel too. Add yourself to the spreadsheet to play with others: HERE (If anyone is better at spreadsheets than I, please feel free to make it look better) Jump in and exterminate some husks!
  21. Just been officially announced: http://www.dirtrally2.com/ Disappointed in the branding
  22. Another very short trailer on this one, with Spiders moving right away from the Mars War Logs / Technomancer universe into something more fantasy inspired.
