  1. Out today in the US Switch store. Not sure about anywhere else. It's not in coming soon on the UK store. I think it might be getting a PC release maybe? Basically it's a fast paced, easy to control stealth game that Kotaku says is perfect for people who don't like stealth games. That would be me. I've seen videos of people playing this and it looks amazing. Control is just movement on the left stick. If you move close to someone you kill them. You have limited supplies of things like bullets, smoke grenades and emp bombs. If you get detected one of these fires automatically. You get a multiplier for fast chaining kills together. https://kotaku.com/never-stop-sneakin-is-a-stealth-game-for-people-who-hat-1821123901 Anyone else grabbing it? Also as they said on Giant Bomb last week the simple control method would make this perfect for play on a phone or tablet
  2. Just seen this while browsing, must say quite tempted. http://www.tinymetal.com/ http://store.steampowered.com/app/751500/TINY_METAL/ One thing to be aware of, apparentlythe directoir Hiroaki Yura is accused of embezzling £750,000 from the Kickstarter campaign for the Project Phoenix to pay for the development of this game. Seem to be reviewing well on the Switch as well.
  3. Still got this on Steam and replayed it a few months back, actually holds up pretty well. Wonder if it;ll be anything more than just a graphical overhaul. Still should be decent.

  6. Hello. I'm in the market for a luxe switch case. At the moment I have a small red one but it's just a little too small and the games aren't secure. I'm petrified of them flying out when opening up in public. Ideally it should be able to hold many games, 4 controllers, charging cable and an HDMI adapter for connecting to other people's TVs. What do you have currently ? Is anybody eyeing up something new?
  7. Mark this up as one of the first big Switch exclusive third party titles. Coming to you courtesy of Atlus. Sorry for quoting tweets, but I haven't been able to find separate shots. Yet.
  8. Look at this shit. Just look at it: What a time to be alive!

  10. http://nintendoeverything.com/jupiter-announces-picross-s-for-switch-out-next-week/ They'd better be all new puzzles! Shame it doesn't suggest there are any truly massive puzzles. And that it's out the same day as Stardew Valley.

  13. Posted in the Roguelike thread but I think it deserves it's own topic as there may be a broader audience for this little oddball game. This takes a lot of getting used to, controlling like nothing I've played before; left and right analogue control the tilt and it, apart from a menu - it's damn hard; but I think it'll be worth the investment in time. It's very roguelike/lite in terms of randomisation and I can see this getting a very strong little niche community, any of you guys tried it?
  14. Revealed during the Nintendo Switch presentation. Here's Capcom's blog announcement: http://www.capcom-unity.com/harrisony/blog/2017/01/12/ultra-street-fighter-ii-is-coming-to-nintendo-switch They don't explicitly mention any other platforms but I'm sure it'll be coming to PS4 and Xbox One as well. You can switch (haha yeah!) between HD and Classic art (unlike HD Remix on PS360 the backgrounds also change to the classic art so there's no jarring clash of styles), there will be new single and multiplayer modes (including Dramatic Battle style 2 on 1 fights) plus Evil Ryu and Violent Ken have been added as new characters. It's one of the games playable at today's Switch events. Capcom's Yoshinori Ono will be demoing it today during Nintendo's Treehouse stream.

  17. Stream | Youtube | Archive ABOUT What to Expect? more at NintendoLife Might as well have a separate thread for it am I right? I'm hoping they're able to make ARMS look more enticing by showing more characters and modes as I'm not sure the Nintendo Tax™ is justified at the moment. They could at least double the roster and make Dhalsim a pre-order bonus (insta buy).
  18. There are quite a few SNK games on the Switch by now, but I've never played any of them, as I never had a Neo-Geo, and can't ever remember seeing their games in an arcade when they were still a thing. I've been aware of Metal Slug and King of Fighters, but haven't really heard of any of the others. Do any of these games still stand up, or are they really just for nostalgia? Are any in particular recommended?

  22. Teaser trailer at the Nintendo Switch event: Best guess is that this will be SMTV (without Ant and Dec), given that it's been announced in the 25th Anniversary year of the series. Obviously really early but two really positive things: 1) Trailer above has a PEGI logo so we are almost certainly getting a European release 2) Unreal Engine 4 logo - the adoption of Unreal Engine for Japanese developers recently has seemed to have really helped their development processes and my hope is that this won't take as long as TMS#FE did!
  23. Shown in the Nintendo Switch announcement trailer: This is probably what the Galaxy/3D World team have been working on since. The most interesting part is after the person stops playing it they take it to a party and then begin a two player co-op session with it. It's hard to see how that would work with such a close-in character following camera, unless it was a Galaxy-style "star bit collector" mode, or something quite different.
