(I know the device isn't really running Doom, just using the LCD screen to display the output of other hardware.)

http://www.indieretronews.com/2020/05/marios-cement-factory-c64-port-coming.html#more From the creator More at the link but a bit of a fool's errand as the C64 doesn't have a display good enough to.... Woah. This looks really good and as close to the art of the original that you might hope to get on an 8-bit.

Wrong. http://www.indieretronews.com/2018/05/eye-of-beholder-dungeon-crawling.html How good does that look? More (including a video) at the link.

Not that Zoo Keeper. The other one. The obscure Taito arcade game from the early 80's. The platform screen would be easy to do on the 2600 but the :cage" screen? Can't be done. Or can it? What I love about this port is the detail, down to the credits screen which is the same as the credits screen used in other Activision C64 ports. And they managed to get that amazing Activision sunset in, something that's harder to do on the C64 than the 2600. More info here http://www.indieretronews.com/2019/08/chopper-command-c64-final-version-will.html#more Unfamiliar with the game? It's a basic version of Defender where you need to take out planes and choppers before they hit your convoy. Bonus points are awarded depending on the jeeps remain
