  2. Anyone else been watching the series version of Marky Mark's film, Shooter on Netflix? It's about eight episodes down so far and it isn't bad. Ryan Phillipe is playing the Marky Mark role of the awesomely named Bob-Lee Swagger and certainly worth a look if you enjoyed the original film.
  3. Just started watching this.... to be honest.. I've just started the second episode and I'm not actually sure what it is!! I quite enjoyed the first episode... It feels a bit twin peaks crossed with stranger things Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. So I'm a ginger. One day when browsing Netflix I see a film called Being Ginger. It's a low budget self made film about an American chap, Scott, who is at a Scottish university studying film and Hus pursuit of someone who will look past his lack of melanin. Now I really enjoyed it so I went ti see what he's doing next and he has a kickstarter for finishing funds on his next project. If you're curious, could I recommend you check out Being Ginger and if you like it, maybe consider his kickstarter. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/scottpharris/an-american-ginger-in-paris-finishing-funds/description there's only five days left hence me starting this thread whereas I wouldn't normally. kthnxbye.
  5. This was announced ages ago and just earlier today I was wondering if it had been dumped. Now they've released a teaser, urging you not to watch. We've got Patrick Warburton as Lemony Snicket, Neil Patrick Harris as Olaf as well as Joan Cusack and Aasif Mandvi. Comes out Friday, 13 January, 2017.
  6. The Gilmore Girls are back! Welcome to our own cozy little Gilmore corner. Have a million different snacks ready in true Gilmore style and get ready to discuss! Apparently this scene from the teaser was shot specifically for the promo and is not part of the revival, more info here
  7. Was unable to find a topic for this, and since the showrunners were announced today, I thought it might be time. They're familiar faces! http://marvel.com/news/tv/26037/netflix_original_series_marvels_the_defenders_finds_its_showrunners
  8. http://tvline.com/2016/03/18/drew-barrymore-timothy-olyphant-cast-santa-clarita-diet/ Netflix signed up Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant for a single-camera comedy, Santa Clarita Diet, coming in 2017. Also produced and written by Victor Fresco, writer and producer of Better Off Ted.
  9. https://deadline.com/2015/11/lost-in-space-tv-series-remake-netflix-1201587644/ Legendary TV is remaking Lost in Space, with Netflix winning a bidding war. Neil Marshall is involved and expected to direct. Not sure about the writers though. They did Dracula Untold, The Last Witch Hunter and the weird looking upcoming Gods of Egypt. Didn't bother watching the first two as they seems to be bad. If Rottentomatoes are to be trusted, they turned out awful.
  10. Del Toro plans stop-motion 'Pinocchio' Del Toro teaming up with Henson Company for a stop-motion movie. Penned by Del Toro and someone called Gris Grimley who did a version of the book in 2002. I don't know him, but maybe some of you do. Oh, and one word which seems to stand out there is necrophilia...
